GothicRavenGoddess (3)
I like being able to hold intelligent conversations with people. I like the fact that most of us live close enough to ppl that we aren't just anonymous avatars, and can meet face to face. I don't think that I would have met anyone here, had it not been for this site... I love the fact that I have made some really good friends here. I am happy to have met you, Troy. You are an awesome person. I am glad that you made this site. Without you, I'd be a bored, mindless zombie, constantly toiling away one MySpace. I still go there, BUT I don't spend as much time on it, anymore, like I use to. If I had the money, I'd be contributing every week... I wish that I could do more... I love it here, in DGN. its a good place to rest, and rid oneself of the mundane filth that accumulates, from other sites, or day to day life. Sit back, relax, have a friendly discussion/argument. I love it! I have a feeling that DGN is suffering financially? I wish that i could do more, but its bad, when I feel rich from finding a damn penny in the couch! anyways! Three cheers to Troy's greatness! "hip, hip, hooray!" "Hip, Hip, Hooray!" "HIP, HIP, HOORAY!" and Three Cheers to DGN's greatness! "hip, hip, hooray!" "Hip, Hip, Hooray!" "HIP, HIP, HOORAY!" sass_in_the_pants
Um, it's not lame for starters. I totally went on to this Detroit Moms board. Lame. Totally lame. It just didn't seem to have any, bite, y'know? Personalities did not clash. Everyone said LOL to totally stupid remarks. Lame. Where else can I talk about pleather, God and how cute my kids are all at the same time?
Destroit
...do I have to participate in this survey? Because I can go on about DGN probably as much as you could, Troy. For serious.

SuZQZ
DGN is a great place, Troy. You've built someplace where people from all different backgrounds, religious beliefs, political beliefs, greatly varying age ranges, etc., can come together for great discussions, communication, friendship, support, share information or just be plain silly. The variety of the topics, opinions and people is just the right mix. I look forward to logging in everyday to see what's happening with these folks I have come to care so much about and to see what hot topics are on the board. CandyQuackenbush
It was a way for most of you to see and know about my life in Iraq. It's easier to access on any computer than MySpace or LiveJournal.
Burrich1
DGN is like your local hole in the wall bar, only better. It has much more interesting people and superior music (so to speak). It’s a great place to come unwind after work and do some people watching or chat with friends. You are always welcome here, and nobody cares when you jump into their conversations or just do a little lurking. Almost everyone's friendly and accepting on most things. The many common interests that drew each of us here in the first place insure there will be a safe accepting environment that’s not easy to come by elsewhere. I greatly value having a place like this. I can hang out in for a few minutes or an hour or two as my hectic schedule allows. I need not worry about feeling anxious or out of place. I've met more people face to face sharing these similar interests because of DGN in just the last 6 months than I've had in years of going to City Club. This just scratches the surface Troy. Thanks again for letting me be a small part of this board. Edited February 28, 2008 by Burrich1

jadnifer
Sometimes I don't know what I would do without DGN. SERIOUSLY I have met SO many great friends to hang out with and have learned of great places to go to hang out and have a good time. It's a place where I can have serious discussions and put my point of view without people attacking me for it. No one here seems to judge anyone else. It's also a place where we can can talk about funny stuff. POOP!! Need I say more?? DGN is like my home away from home. It gets me away from my immediate reality and takes me to a place where I can chill out with a mocha frauppcino in the coffeehouse and kick back and watch what's going on. Once I start getting more money (whenever that will be) I hope to be able to support DGN financially. But until then, all I have is my kind words. Troy you are a genious for creating DGN!! Kit Kat P
For me it is like a connecting thread. No matter where I move to, or what is going on in my life, or how long I'm away, it's there and it consistent. It's real, and shows so many facets of humanity. It challenges me and soothes. And what else am I supposed to do to avoid work.

DGN allowed me to be a mod, make friends, and meet the man whom I will marry in 2 weeks. It has also afforded me ENDLESS entertainment by reading shitty spelling and made me a peasenov.
