Brenda Starrr
Isn't he sweet? He's a blue-tongued skink. Not to be confused with any fork-tongued skanks you may know. He's about 16 inches or so long, and was named Fluffy because of his midsection. I thought that naming him after a shoe would be good, but this seems to work just fine

TygerLili
Awesome! I hate when people name their dog or cat Fluffy, come on, you can be more original, but naming a reptile Fluffy is too cool.

TygerLili
Yeah, I worked in a doctor's office for 2 years. You should see some of the stuff people named their kids. Normal, Princess, Queen, Sweetie and Slappy are among my faves. Anyway, back on topic very cute, uh, skink, Brenda.

Brenda Starrr
Thanks, all. He's actually quite a cuddler, and love eating from our hands. I would love to find a background of burning buildings for his tank. He stomps around like Godzilla.

Rayne
My little brother had a bearded dragon named Junior. I've had dogs named Bandit (husky mix), Eclipse (all black Rottweiler), Laredo (Pitbull mix), Bear (Samoyed) and Mack (Pug) and now I have two dogs named Nezumi (my Chihuahua, which is Japanese for mouse ... or Zoomy for short) and Roscoe (I didn't name him, his previous owners did, but it's perfect for him). ... I'm going to have to look up skinks now, because I see it's a lizard, but I know nothing beyond that.

Gaf The Horse With Tears
I see skinks in the bushes around my home sometimes. Poisonous little monsters if they get eaten. If a cat or small dog eats one.. it's dead. A large dog will have convulsions for a few hours and be sick for days. I'm not a reptile fan... wont touch lizards if I have a say in it. Too many can make you sick ss hell if they decide to bite you.
