Yea, it is aggravating in those outlet-ish stores.

I say no to pastels also. I haven't been work clothes shopping for a bit.

Soma is the intimates sister company to Chicos. Talbots/AT/Chicos -- they do cater to a wider age range, for sure.

I agree with TygerLili in finding some stuff in the lesser expensive shops. For me, it's more for trend pieces, or ones I may get tired of. OR it's a one-time outfit for an occasion.

I tend to allow myself to pay a little more for classic pieces I know I'll wear ALOT. I had an old college roommate that would help me accessorize my outfits, and he'd say -- think of it in the 'price per wear'. The more you wear it, the less it costs each time! (rationalization technique for my expensive taste)

Best is CLEARANCE or DEALS at the shops you like, in my opinion.

The unfortunate thing though for you Hunhee -- since you hate shopping -- it takes a time investment to shop.

Maybe you need a personal shopper!!!
