creatureofthenyte
I picked up the other day, what appears to me anyway, to be a new cd from Theatre of Tragedy. I've been aware of them for years, and just got around to buying some of their stuff now. I'm glad I did.

DJ Saint
also NOISUF-X's mastermind Jan L has been active on the electronic borderline between techno and EBM/electro since 1988. So far he has released four highly-acclaimed albums under the moniker of NOISUF-X which rightly gave him a place among the top acts of these genres. After several live performances (among others at the Summer Darkness, the Gothic Festival and the Powerstrip Festival with LEÆTHER STRIP) the new work by NOISUF-X now appears. The release is entitled "Excessive Exposure" and comes out on the first of April though it is no April fool's joke to be sure! The album will excite the masses and shaking, crowded dance floors are inevitable. This uncompromising catchy and danceable club material is far ahead of its rivals. The limited edition box set comes with a four-tracks bonus CD entitled "Excessive Extension" which includes guest vocals by two highly respected musicians - Peter Spilles (PROJECT PITCHFORK) and Johan van Roy (SUICIDE COMMANDO). A must-have for all industrial-electro fans! AND Industrial for the clubs, massive bass garnished with tons of noise for the dancefloor! The fourth instalment of this successful compilation series will challenge your stereo set with red hot and partly exclusive material from COMBICHRIST, NACHTMAHR, DULCE LIQUIDO, MISS CONSTRUCTION, THE HORRORIST, SPEEDY J, KIEW, NORTHBORNE, UNTERART, CERVELLO ELETTRONICO, PHOSGORE, 13TH MONKEY and a roster of promising newcomers. The perfect fusion of harsh industrial and dance floor compatible techno club sounds, "Industrial For The Masses Vol. 4" brings together the cream of the crop in hard electronic sounds on an infernal compilation. As a special bonus, the set includes a maxi CD from the promising new German industrial project MÆLSTROM INC.

DJ Saint
i heard it mentioned on here a couple times, but has anyone heard any recent news on the ever illusive Skinny Puppy cd... seems every rumored release date comes and goes, yet still nothing has materialized. i hear there is new Front Line Assembly on the way very soon, but still aint heard nuthin 'bout that skinny puppy album. New Front Line single "Shifting Through the Lens" is out. It's pretty good yet typical of what Front Line has been doing for a few years now. The full-length "Improvised Electronic Device" comes out 6/25/2010 on Dependent (EUR). Haven't heard a concrete release date on the new Skinny Puppy Album. SPV is expecting to release the Skinny Puppy Album in August. I do know it will be available in 2 different editions/formats (this could be vinyl and CD or CD and CD with bonus disc). Based on numerous interviews and other collected info it appears that the album has been done/mostly-done for quite a while now, but SPV has been doing some post-bankruptcy restructuring so that might explain the delay. The band is on tour in Europe from July 15 until August 22 so that will keep them busy. If I hear anything further I will update.
