Homicidalheathen
When I was younger I hated going to weddings. It seemed that all of my aunts and the grandmotherly types used to come up to me, pinch my cheeks, poke me in the ribs and cackle, telling me, 'YOU'RE NEXT'.They stopped that shit after I started doing the same thing to them at funerals. Michi
I ish leh single, and it's not a bad change. The missing sexual link sucks, since I don't care for casual sex anymore, but I'm dealing with by masturbating.

asphyxian_doll
I like being single, but i miss the intimacy in a relationship.... Only reason why I like being single is because my standards are so high very few meet them And those who don't meet my standards pose irritating or worse....actually make me depressed for making such a horrid choice. I quit doing the whole "take what i can get" shit, found some self respect, and gave up on the search. Id rather die alone than be with someone who is unhappy with me or vice verse' Edited September 28, 2008 by asphyxian_doll
Guest greyhalo
I have so many pets these days that I don't even know if I'd have time for a boyfriend. Besides, I think many guys would tend to steer clear of the crazy pet-lady.

Troy Spiral (13)
I thought being on the lookout for a future ex was genetically encoded into anyone borne after like 1970. Well unless they are way too tall, have long hair, run a message board and have trouble telling if "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" is from The Life Of Brian or The Meaning Of life. Id rather die alone than be with someone who is unhappy with me or vice verse' ------------------------ that describes me in my twenties to a t i like being married cause i am not alone, still have enough freedom...just not enough sex. I settled for a sane person but had to forgo some of the sex...trying to find ONE PERSON who has ALL the qualities you like...i gave up...he/she...does not exist...i thought this one lady i see was perfect but she has a low sex drive and is kinda old fashioned...she freaked out that i am in an open marriage and a avid nudist, at least i am honest wtf? could have just lied...fucked her...and moved on...i hope she still wants to...we'll see... holding onto self respect pays off in the long run...i just wish my lil' head would listen to the big head so to speak...sometimes 'it' still wins out and i have to beat it into submission with this lil dandy randy rouser my friend got me it has multiple speeds for multiple 0's and mine is neon green... funny thing about taking care of ones self, it always just feels like a hold over snack to me...just not the same. at least i wont catch anything and die

Ice Queen (1)
For some reason lately, it seems I have been meeting up with a disbelief in the fact that I am single and go to nightspots or events unescorted, like, there is something wrong with that. I never go very long without some man approaching me to talk. When I am done talking with him and go about my way, it is not long until there is another. I enjoy being single and it's not that I am anti-relationship or anything, just no one has interested me enough yet.
StormKnight (1)
Sounds like the same story here, Ice Queen. Except for me, it is with women. Going out to dinner stinks on ice (no offense,) because I get looked at like a leper when I say table for one. I almost expect to see the wait staff coming after me with torches like an angry mob in a old horror movie screeching "Heretic!! Heretic!!!!!! Burn the heretic!!!" Makes eating dinner alone that much more depressing. I do understand the spark of interest, that desire to get to know people better through that connection, but it is hard to find these days.
