I feel odd about this but, at times I'm incredibly happy being single, but one or two times outta the month I just get all "emo" depressed and want a cuddle friend, but not so much a relationship, just someone I can pickup for a date every now and a again, have a nice romantic evening, and whatever happens happens.. odd.. yea I know..

Thats not so odd. Maybe you need to find a girl or two wanting the same.

Ya know, at my age now and single I really wonder how the hell I'd go about meeting someone in my age range that I like with similar interests...seriously, it's a complete mystery. I feel like I've become a lot more introverted and selective. I used to make fun of people like me when I was younger and now, well, I still make fun of people like me.

I've encountered that problem. That's why I've only dated men older than me. Everyone in my immediate peer group pretty much sucked.

Honestly, I think I'm too much of a thinking personality to be swooned. :wallbash: The butterflies have been monitored and studied, and are now pinned to the wall as long forgotten trophies. :flower: I'm so romantic.

Besides, it's always a role reversal in that department. :confused:

Rejected over and over for so long by the only person that your heart needs hurts inside.....you find one person in the whole world who is so important to you that you equate them to oxygen and inside you don't know why because the heart knows no logic..and everone else is vapor to you so much so that they could bow at your feet but it means Dick to you, not a single feeling at all...but it's not my fault, it's not my control..your head can rationalize and perhaps overcome the logic lacking heart but nothing can deny or defeat the need in your soul.

Well... Back on the market I suppose. Nothing ever works out. And recently, it's nothing that -I've- done. I was hoping to break the cycle, and just when I thought I had, I end up with nothing still... YAY! Ugh -_-

I've been entertaining the idea of looking into buying an old ass house on a hill... Adding lots of ivy an letting it sit empty for a few years... Then one night, move in. Then collect some cats. Add some fake headstones to the backyard... Don a stereotypical pointed hat. Perfect a cackle... You know. Something out of a movie. It'll be epic.

Anyways. Not really looking for anything. Just thought I'd log in and post, since I haven't been here in a while.
