Who Here Is Single

Recommended Posts

I don't really understand when people complain about being single.

When I am, I have lots of fun. When I am not, I have lots of fun.

But it does not always work that way depending on who you are...and also what type of FUN you like.

I have fun with cars, vodka, campfires, vodka, autoCAD, vodka, my cat, vodka, and sometimes vodka. However, even though it is fun doing these things by myself and with a few friends there is something missing when you don't have a significant other. It may still be fun but like I said before...something just isn't there...and I am not talking about a chaser for the vodka.

I have no problem being single for life, its not a requirement in life, and to me being with someone is a waste of my time.

what I cannot stand are those who absolutely have to be with someone, and I refuse to be around anyone that is like that, also I do not hang around anyone who is stereotypical of single people,a lot of couples like to act like that towards single people.I have more fun hanging out with relatives(family) and friends my line of work, than being with someone who thinks I should blow off everyone that I know including family and interfering with my job, sorry I wear the pants, but of course not all people are like, but it is very common though.btw the only couples I hang around are the ones I have known for many years.

We DID have a thread where if you tagged it, I'ld find a person to attempt to match you up with...but, it never really worked out...all the singles were being VERY OVER PICKY...

Thats why you need two black vans and some shifty goons...one phone call and two injections later both parties wake up at a nice restaurant handcuffed together until they work something out in person.

Seriously dude...my team is ready...

No, no. Forcing the issue may quiet down the complaining for a bit, but is a setup for disappointment, and most likely, the loss of friends. I think finding common interests is the best bet. The only thing I haven't tried (for lack of *single* women in the hobbies/interests.)

Very over picky = Being selective. Generally a good trait if you want to avoid a lot of drama and hassle. It's when you see someone attractive and try to date them without much other consideration that things get messy. People need to stop moping about being single and just get on with their lives. When someone comes along that you're both attracted to AND has compatible interests and personality traits.. then it's time to step up and date them and see if the potential works out. If they're not interested? So what! Someone else will come along.

The Van of Doom will handle the ladies side. Of course, if I find them attractive, I may abscond with them myself....

See this is why we have a union...company vans and a contract that states you will deliver the product on time every time...side jobs are a different story though.
