kat (1)
This is my kin folk here. This is John Hunley from John Hunley and the Kentuckians. I started doing research on him and found this clip. I actually met an older couple years ago who knew of him and pulled out all his records and showed me. Good times, too bad I never met him.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VLnj0x9MW6M I want to go Jam with these guys!

FarrIL
Coming in a little late in this thread but... Johnny Cash? Hell YES! I'll even listen to some Hank Williams the Third. But I happily jam and boogie to country music at work and I bust out to Miranda Lambert's "Gunpowder and Lead". Martina Mcbride, Taylor Swift, Lady Antibellum, and many other country musicians that I cant name because I may know their music but dont remember who's who. Squeakz
Shhh. All of you talk about Johnny Cash. Great man. But here. Murder By Death orrrrr. The Devil Makes Three The first, sounds so like J. Cash, and the second is just fancy. Love the throaty, hole in the wall bar performance voices. Also, check out William Elliot Whitmore, if you're diggin' it. Edited June 13, 2010 by Squeakz
