this is my 1st attempt making a sculpter out of plaster... i used the real human skeleton that i have had hanging in my closet since i was wee... don't worry its leagal... he's from china. he was a boy but i used shower puffs to give him boobs and a mask to make the face. its over 3 ft tall and 2 ft wide. and ways like 20 lbs... it about 15 hours stright to finish it... it was a blast and i want to do more of them

That's pretty fantastic. Keep up the great creative work! Are you thinking of selling this and or other pieces?

why thank you. i hope i can it comes and goes ya know how it is but now that i found out my place is in sculpting i think it will be there more often then not... and yeah i am thinkin about selling it after its been in a few Galleries. and yeah if i made more i would sell them cuz you can only keep so many things lol. i mean if i had the money i would dapple inmore things i can't wait to start doin metal it makes me giddy

that's SO COOL!!!! i want one... wait, how's it legal to have a skeleton? (just curious)

thank you... if i get more into plaster maybe i can make you one lol... and about the body my moms a nurse who worked with a doctor who passed away... she got to keep the skeleton. but left it tucked away in the attic i brought it out and put it in my closet so i could actually say i have skeletons in my closet... and its just gon from there lol

My best friend has a skeleton of a vietnamese girl. He's an Anthropology professor though. He did his masters thesis on the female pelvis. Maybe that's why every single woman he's met since I met him (except me) and completely fallen for him.

If you can make more, and get them into galleries, or post on deviantart.net or some big art house, I promise you there is a huge market out there full of people with Shitloads of money who would happily fork over thousands of dollars for one of a kind pieces like that.

LOL that's cool as hell... i'd def shit bats (reference to the "are you goth" thread) if i had a human skeleton in my house, all dressed up so cool like, just like that one... tho i doubt when you make more a skeleton will be used... but i can pretend! lol

i would so totaly use him again and many more times i mean there are so many diffrent things you can make him do and he's a great dancer... light on his feet... but he's kinda fallin apart in his old age soi would have to get a slightly newer modle. maybe get him a girl friend and i can holy shit new idea but i need to get another skeleton before i can even begin to play with it sounds... kinky lol

If you can make more, and get them into galleries, or post on deviantart.net or some big art house, I promise you there is a huge market out there full of people with Shitloads of money who would happily fork over thousands of dollars for one of a kind pieces like that.

lol i wonder why. i mean if some one can write a 300 plus book about they are bound to know a few things about it i would hope lol.

well its in one right now and i have plans for it to go in another one if i keep it that long cause its gonna be huge... yeah i bet lol i mean if i got a good chunck of money for it i could buy more stuff to do more ah i love it lol...

i still want my sculpture done w/ a real skeleton... I'll have to have it blessed by a high priestess so that is doesn't bring bad spirits into my house, but it would SO be worth it!!!

i have never had a bad spirt inmy house because of him so i don't think it would be too bad lol but do what ever you like lol

applause for creativity! :clap: , but sorry, it creeps me out... seems a bit disrespectful.

(not that i'm saying anything against it, i just know that personally, i couldn't do that - in fact, i couldn't keep a human skeleton, i'd have to lay it to rest as properly as i knew how, based on what i knew of it's history.)

of course, i'm kinda weird anyway, so...

why spank you! and what art school mumbo jumbo do you want to spill on me i am always interested in a convo about it... personally i don't think you should have to have a degree that says your good in art but thats just me... the only reason i'm doing it is to try a bunch of diffrent styles to find out what suits me best... so i don't limit meself... and thank you by the way

This is really cool. I really like the way you painted it.

why thank you! we could only use a Monochromatic schem to paint it with the exception of black and white... i don't think it would have turned out as good if i painted it in complete detail...
