Dang, you guys are definitely friendly here. Big thanks to Chernobyl and Troy Spiral for sending me individual private messages. I'm really looking forward to getting to know you guys better! I usually join forums and lurk for a while before posting, but you guys made me feel so welcome that I didn't feel so hesitant to post. Well, without further ado, here's the survey...

Current location? Downriver, MI

Where from? Born and raised in Downriver. Lived in Florida for 7 months, then decided that other than the sucky weather, I actually prefer Downriver. Yeah, long story. :confused:

Gender? Female.

Work? I'm currently a substitute teacher for several local elementary schools.

School? Currently taking a break after four long years of college.

Kids? None, unless you count my cats.

Married? Nope.

Single? Yes.

Hobbies? Lots. Just to name a few, I like animals, movies, classic video games, reading, figure skating, drawing, writing, learning new things (well, only the things that interest me), every type of music except rap, some TV (Family Guy, classic South Park, anything on Court TV, etc.), surfing the Internet, etc. Basically, I'm into anything but most sports. No offense to the sports fans out there!

How Did You Find DGN? I Googled "Detroit City Club" to see if there was anything exciting coming up soon, then found this forum.

Other Stuff? Nothing much. I'm kind of shy at first, but once you get to know me, I'm quite a talker. If there's anything else you'd like to know, then just ask.

"DGN Night" - I'll definitely check it out. I'm 22, so I've been to City Club, but I didn't make it there until earlier this year! My friends kept asking me to go, but our schedules were always so different that we had trouble getting the same days off. With my current schedule, however, that has changed.

And we can always use help finding new friendly people. Help us out and drag em on over! -- I go to City Club with two friends I've known since first grade. I could let them know about this place and see if they're interested. :thumbsup:

Pull up a virtual chair and stay awhile :welcome: Too bad you live downriver or I'd say you could be my new CC buddy, oh well, I'm sure we'll at least run into each other at DGN night sometime. Just make sure that if you're going to CC that you post in our Nightlife Forum under the current DGN thread (we change it weekly obviously) that you plan on attending to let us all know to look out for you! :)

Hiya again,

Glad you decided to post. =) Thanks for taking the time. Some people show up but then never post. That guy "Google" seems to be able to promote DGN, but only occasionally does anyone he sends us actually posts! Actually it took us a long time to get him to list us near the top of his searches, but he finally came around haha.

Moved away and then back. Its amazing how often that happens. =)

If your going to CC post something in the DGN Night topic here in the nightlife section. So we can keep an eye out for you, only a certain subset of the board reads all the forums. Its just also nice to see who is going. : (pinned post at the top)

Hopefully we can talk you into throwing your 2 cents into some of our many topics *points at all the forums and crazy topics* Its taken us a long time to get it this way, but the place is quite friendly. We have a few brats here and there but we keep them to a minimum. =P

Hiya and Welcome!! :evil: I am very surprised your cookies havn't arived yet. Somebody is slacking. Ah well...

Here is a nice plate of chocolate chip cookies. (They're not as good as KitKat's, but they're still warm, and fairly tasty.) You may share them if you'd like, but please do not give any to Jadnifer. It's not that we don't like Jadnifer, as she is one of our favorite people on the board. She's not allowed to have any because she's not evil enough yet. She's working on it though, and even enrolled in classes and such.

Again, welcome, and feel free to put your two cents in anywhere.
