Thank you...and you do have a point..it also helps that I have been doing this for some time. I have seen inexperienced but beautiful girls look horrendous because of things like bad posing..it's sad, really.

I'm starting a side gig as a photographer for a website starting up in June. It's gonna be based on pics like what you have posted so any suggestions for a newbie photog with models would be appreciated.

The person you should talk to..is mstrbeau. d00der's an awesome photog. You may want to think about setting up a Model Mayhem account, if you have samples of your work readily available. I've seen photogs put ads on Craigslist for TFCD shoots..where you take the pics, you don't charge anything, but you both get images to build your portfolios.

Ha... Funny you should mention that. I was in Borders yesterday and found a book of photographs in it that totally inspired me. There we a few images of women in fantasy or futuristic looking armor/outfits. Those combine three things I love - Beautiful ladies, photography and bare metal objects. I'm geeked to start finding people who make those kinds of outfits and then shoot models in them. I'm thinking I need to develop some cool backrounds or scout appropriate locations too. I also got geeked about doing pinups with rat rods, but that's a whole other story.... I heart book stores. :-)

If you need a wooded area with a creek, I have that location here. It's just that it would need to be a sunday. Office is closed so it would make things easier. I have a few of my swords here and a couple of prop weapons. I also have some large pieces of material that can be used as a backdrop and I can always get a storage unit to use for an indoor setting, just need to hang material and it could work.
