What is in place isn't that bad.

We are not the hardest place to move to.

What this somewhat falls under is..

If enough people lie.

It becomes truth..

People buy it

But it isn't truth.

Enough (to the point that they cannot be all rounded up) illegals come here from anywhere.

Bitch enough...

That some how give them legal rights here?

Sorry!

That is like saying...

If someone robs a bank...

Breaks their leg on way out.

Sue's the bank.... And wins>.>

The jack ass should get more time for even trying that!

Not rewarded....

Many laws are all ways changing.

But not becuase a TON of Illegals want to so.

Just to make things easy.

Nothing in life is easy.

If everything was easy...

No one would need leave where they were born from.

I wasn't...I long and wait for the beauteous day that it happens..:whistle:

Till then...I can't really say anything...it's not like anybody wants to listen to me anyway...

Just because I don't agree with you, that doesn't mean I don't want to listen.

Differing opinions help me to clarify and define my own, and force me to think in ways I wouldn't have before.

I might be surprised by some of the responses to this and other threads, but hey, difference is good. :-)

I'm with you Pandora

I fear that sometimes things get a bit heated, and people cross over to personal attacks, which is not necessary. We're all adults here.

We can all learn, express ourselves, and share ideas/viewpoints respectfully without any of that drama.

:respect:

I love you guys!!!!!

It's easy as hell to get a visa even now, and I've never heard of an Hispanic terrorist, and they make up the vast majority of illegal immigrants.

I had to pay 500€ agency fee + 100$ Homeland Security fee + 89€ Visa fee

+ dozens of stupid application forms to fill out

to get a 6 month visa for working.

Hm, I would not call that easy as hell ;)

Ha, agreed. If you have the Money, and the time for the paperwork you can still get a visa, in terms of being a terrorist getting into this country, it isn't insurmountable. But the fruit pickers, housekeeping and janitorial staff aren't the ones flying planes into buildings.

I don't think applications and background checks are stupid, but I think you can still get into this country with very bad intentions even with all that legwork.

Anyone else find it odd that the only real place in the world with "illegal immigrants" is the US? I mean...Americans go EVERYWHERE, EVERYDAY....and we do it when we want too....there isn't much stopping a US person from crossing into Canada, Mexico, or taking his jet ski to Cuba....

ironic?

That's incorrect. Britain has thousands of illegal immigrants, so does France and many many other European countries. US isn't the only place to go.

I only disagreed with 1 word you said on this thread...before the Australians came into it.

..I was commenting on how a great many of my posts seem to be overlooked, like THIS post on the first page of the thread... is my point unclear?

I am not an IMMIGRANT... we are NOT ALL immigrants... some of us MIGRATED here before the concept of borders...

YES, Troy...no borders...I so agree with you...but the rest of Humanity is simply not ready to advance to such a 'Star Trek' reality...so we gotta' sit back and let everyone else fight over it, until they realize; Earth is one big chunk.

That's incorrect. Britain has thousands of illegal immigrants, so does France and many many other European countries. US isn't the only place to go.

understood..but what i was saying is that, for Americans, it's much easier for us to obtain what we want then it is for anyone else...I mean...much of the world speaks english as a secondary language....and most of us don't care to learn anything much past basic spanish, german, and french....tons of americans don't even know that learning Spanish and using it in places like Mexico, Cuba, etc....doesn't exactly help, cuz it has different variations in those countries.

best example I ever got was from a LEGAL immigrant from Mexico I used to work with...His parents spoke both fluent english and Spanish. He was even hired in a place in Texas to teach Mexican Spanish to Latinos that spent so much of their childhood around english..they didn't know a word of Spanish (yeah...shocked the hell outta me too..but it's true).

He told me that he once met this guy from Spain...and the guy asked him where he could go to get a dog...well..."to get" in normal spanish is the same word as "to fuck" in mexican....yeah....so..if your in Cancun....don't ask where you can go "to get" anything...unless you actually want to get laid....

Whats the real issue here... I mean about said illegal immigrants...

* They take the jobs no one wants anyway.

* They don't pay taxes but reap benefits.

Maybe America should just have a tax reform, that is bring PAYE in, instead of the yearly thing you all do. Sure, people will still work for money under the table, even the great non illegal immigrants... But money is taken directly from the employer instead of the employee on tax day. Do you guys have GST? If not, you probably should have it there. If you do, explain to me how they avoid said tax. Now without being legal, correct me if I am wrong but is not one prohibited from owning a house, thus paying rates...

Yes I know, I know. They avoid some taxes, which sadly is a minute part of what taxes are avoided in America. You can go to any large corporation and look at their tax returns, most of them I dare say it, will have some degree of creative accoutning in it. I just get annoyed I guess about people complaining about immigrants in my country about htem raping the goverment and public services when it tends to be their own country men that are doing it the most.

As for the job issue, its called a competitive market, get use to it. Remember those kids that got all the awards in the assembly for doing a better job than you? Its kind of the same thing, don't want them to steal your jobs? Approach the employer with an offer that is better than the said immigrants. If he doesn't employ you then, it would just be stupid of the employer nothing to do with illegal immigrants. Its a competitive market... America was built on cheap labour... I don't see any real issue at all with it other than racisim that has arisen through crime etc from more than likely legal Americans.

P.S. New Zealand has illegal immigrants. We go out of our way to make them legal instead of giving them the boot. It helps the economy funny enough.

Our federal tax is taken out of ever paycheck. The "yearly" thing we do is determine if we paid in too much or too little. A great many people don't pay any federal taxes at all as they fall below income thresholds. There is a lot more to it than that... thats just s simple run down of it.

* They take the jobs no one wants anyway.

I call bullshit and you need to stop listening to so much mainstream media. They also take high pay construction jobs that Americans do want. The problem is, they take jobs. Someone would do them if they were not here.

* They don't pay taxes but reap benefits.

And cause Hospitals to go bankrupt.

but the REAL problem that no body really likes to talk about is that Mexico is in a war of attrition with the USA. They want all Territory's back that they lost or sold a hundred plus years ago. The mayer of LA is a founding Member of the group working to that goal. Their plan is known. Get Legal immigrants in positions of power... Mayors of major cities and State House/Senate seats. Flood the area with illegals... get illegals the vote... suand then vote to become part of Mexico.

I think some one should look into this P.S.

America cannot handle the amount of ppl like China has, considering China has more land, still having over a billion ppl in any country is quite a feat.
