Well well. I thought I'd give this a few days to pick up, but it looks like my moving has made it take a few more days, and now... I've got a lot to catch up on.

Good to see all you familiar types though. It's hard to be a part of a board that you used to be in full swing with, then move away from the central base of. Hopefully, this new perspective will help me feel like i'm not just poking my nose into the detroit gothic that i miss so dearly.

Anyway, things are looking good. Congratulations Troy.

As for me... as I said, I just moved, again. Now we're in a new Anchorage apartment, complete with an extra office, real kitchen and living room which are seperate rooms now, a working fireplace, couches, and a place for me to paint. And I need to do a lot of that right now. We have so much wall space to cover!

And soon, there will be a dog to snuggle on. The original plan was to get a Chinook. Sadly, though the breed was originally developed here in Alaska, there aren't any breeders closer than Washington. Bah. Now we're thinking about a Samoyed, or something else warm and cozy that won't scare the neighbors. It's a tough search to find a dog that will be compatible with our lifestyle choices. Something that doesn't need a giant yard and doesn't bark too much. I insist that it shouldn't be left up to me. I haven't had a dog since I was very very young.

I'm still trying to work out a time to come back to Michigan for the New Year. So long as no great financial hardships take place, I should have about a week to visit family, and a nice long weekend in Detroit to see old friends and dance dance dance at the various clubs I miss. There's nothing up here in that realm.

Well then, I've gone on enough. Good to be here. On with the perusal.

awww... I was like that yesterday. There's some weird flu going around in MI, apparantly it's reached the far, barren lands to the north as well.

Perhaps it originated up there with the elves and Santa Clause as a ploy to end the tragedy known as Christmas forever, so that good ol' St. Nick can finally get some rest. Destroy the world with a strange plague like disease and there can be no Christmas. That jolly, old bastard!!

Come back! >poutscries

But its nice to be able to see you on the board at least so that helps hold back the tears a LITTLE bit.

Your always welcome here, so you cant get rid of us that easy!

The new doggie sounds neat. That does seem a bit strange to me about the Chanooks though i had this mental image of the streets and houses of alasak being overun by a bunch of playful Chanooks. I was lied to by the media again!!! GRRR ! hehe :pinch:
