RAWKED. :jamin

Played the Majestic yesterday--all the old favorites:

Sugarlight

The Phone's Off the Hook (But You're Not)

Los Angeles

Johnny Hit & Run Pauline

I'm Comin' Over

We're Desperate

etc. etc. etc.

Exene still looks amazing. John Doe still rocks out--nearing 50, I believe.

The Detroit Cobras opened--great local band with a national following.

Who else was there? Did you have as great a time as I?

I didn't even know they were playing. I got to see them live in So. Cal many years ago ( I was still in high school). Also on the bill was Deborah Harry and The Ramones. What a great show that was!

I have got to figure out how to find out when things are before it's already over. Oh well, wouldn't have been able to go anyway.

Fin, you lucky bastard!

I am, aren't I?

It was fun to see such a founding punk/hardcore band coming full circle.

The crowd was an amazing mix of old & young. There were a lot of father/son & mother/daughter duos there. To see a punk show. Amazing!

Saw them once, around '82 or thereabouts, at the original (downtown) Clutch Cargo's. Pretty decent show, even tho they were my least favorites of the Decline of Western Civilization bands. I remember that night 'cos I was totally broke & hanging around outside the club, and a friend's dad threw me money from an upstairs window so I could get in. Ah, the good old days...
