We wonder

Are we all waiting?

Living day to day debating--

should we come or should we go

Let’s move fast or dance seductively slow

and when we decide the world is right

you need to be in my arms tonight

I think like others but act like few

laughed and talked for the first time,

--our hearts knew

that some things a person just is not certain

when it is time to close the curtain

and keep it to ourselves

and leave our emotions on the shelves

I decorated my life in a way

where I can remember how events were today

years beyond my time

I hope I am embedded in your mind

You maybe be waiting too

but who knows, we may have been through

life is just so difficult to know

which way to come, and what way we shall go.
