Why? Just curious why you aren't going with one of the mainstream Canon/Nikon bodies.

Like the concept of the Foveon x3 sensor and its breakdown of light. Since Polaroid doesn't make it anymore, that leaves Sigma. Been reviewing some of the data and principles of DSLR digitals, and I have no facilities for film development.

Like the concept of the Foveon x3 sensor...set up more like a human eye. Been reviewing some of the data and principles of SLR digitals, and I have no facilities for film development.

Concepts are nice but remember this: The most important thing is the quality of the image. Nothing I've read about it (Admittedly not much yet) strikes me as particularly compelling. Personally I would stick with the Canon/Nikon brands. Their quality is unquestioned, you'll have a huge selection of lenses with either one, and far more support/service because there's a far larger base of users. The quality vs price doesn't add up IMO. Just my $.02...

Thanks for the advice...it helps me consider the path I take. :)

LOL Damnit Marc !

I seriously don't know what it is. I suck at photography obviously.

I try just putting a blank look on my face and it all too often still appears that I'm angry in my pics, even when I'm not, which I wasn't in that one.

I think you look more like.."are you sure you want to do that?"

me and the kids on vacation this summer at the Atlanta Aquarium

This is a great picture. See people she is not just an object. This is a woman with a mind, a career and a family.

We really need a "members only" gallery here on this site..I'd post more pics.

Show me the tweaked image privately, and if it's THAT COOL, I'll give it the OK.

I haven't touched it yet. That was me being silly. I'll play with it at home... And by "it" I don't mean "it".

Confused yet?

I'd like to add that the word "succubus" seems ill suited to what it means. It sounds more like some kind of southern food dish or something...

Peascod is like succotash, without the corn, squash, and/or lima beans-- but with a few special and select ingredients added..

I KNOW you're missin' your good, old-fashioned Metro-Detroit peascod. :p

Looks like someone's in the middle of losing baby teeth. :-)

You guys look great. Raven looks very different from when you guys came over this summer.

Nothing to see! Nothing to see! Move along....

:-P

I decided I like it dark and spooky. Just a tad lighter then you have it.

That is all..
