yeah, but is that being old or smart?

we all did that stuff and had the people that wanted to kill us when we did, well, sometimes, now, they DO kill people that do that.

more than when we were kids.

the thing is that people have way too much repressed anger and kids push too hard and too far with the wrong people sometimes.

old moment?

sure, but it's also looking out for kids that coulda been you

Have some of you over 30 crowd find you just don't care about the same things you used to?  For example whenever a band I like was coming to town I used to be the first in line for tickets.  Now I just think it's a waste oftime.  I'm not going to VNV Nation or Kraftwerk or Assemblage 23.  5 years ago I would have considered it priority.

Well, golly now I feel silly. I am so excited about A23 I can't quit thinking about it.

(I had a deprived youth) ;)

heh Heh, I've done the sauna drinking before.  Character building is putting it mildly.  And how good is your tennis game?  I don't think I could do it forur hours anymore. (Well, not like I used to.)

Yep. Been there, done that. I think alot of it has to do with the mentality of how many times can I see (insert band name here) live? Now, once is enough. Also, my lack of concert going has a bunch to do with Ticketmaster and their outrageous service fees.

ok I'm old. I"ll admit it. I even found gray hairs to prove it.

That doesn't mean jack shit. My best friend in high school was getting gray hairs by the time he was 17, and they were easily noticable by the time he was 18. I've even got a couple. I'M TURNING 22 IN TWO DAYS! Don't worry about it.

FYI:

According to the research I did before I turned 30, MI is one of the easiest states to change your birth certificate information in... But, if you get caught after changing your age on your bc, the fine is something like $10,000. I mean, hell, if you can legally change your sex on your bc, then why not your age--just by a few years?

Yeah, I'm at the peak of my sexuality right now. But, I still wish I was younger otherwise. I want my 26 year-old body back--it looked better and felt better.

Very true....Jinx has had a grey stripe in his hair since puberty.

Although must still be going through puberty since he hasn't hit his growth spurt.

Next time any of you see Jinx behind the decks at the Necto on a Monday, buy him a drink. For most, puberty only lasts 4-7 years. Poor Jinx has been stuck in puberty for almost 20 years.
