Battlestar Galatica (The New Series)

Hmm.. Saul could be a Cylon.. think about it. He's the MOST human? MOST flawed? :geek: heh.. maybe not.

Giaus Baltar is most definitely human.. when he went on the ship that had the disease with the infected Cylons on it, he wasn't affected.. so He's most definitely human. Besides, that type of genius cannot be prevalent in Cylons. It's not "normal" genius, it's insane mad scientist genius. Cylons are machines and a tad more predictable/calculated.

What about Galen Tyrol AKA Chief? He kept questioning it in the beginning, and he did a lot of really stupid shit .. although he has a kid doesn't he? hmm.. that means Kali is a human as well.

Samuel Anders: Fucking HAWT!!!! Too perfect to be human. My vote is that he's a Cylon.. AND he's survived way too much to not be a Cylon? This show is like "Model's In Space" .. :drool

Anastasia Dualla: AKA Lee's wife for a short period of time. (I didn't know they broke up *sniffles*.. I'm not that far yet). She's been very loyal to Adama from the beginning. She's gone against her "family's wishes"... She doesn't have a whole lot of past history they talk about. Could be a Cylon.

Felix Gaeta: Hmm.. too easy. I don't believe he's a skin-job.

Tom Zarek: What about tom? I mean come on.. he's been a thorn in their side from the beginning.. He had no problem executing humans when he was president "secretly". Hmm..

Tory Foster: President Roslin's Aid.. Definitely could be a Cylon. At least in my opinion.. although, she doesn't really have a huge role does she? .. BUT she's definitely in a good position for a Cylon. AND Wasn't she the one who know where the half-Cylon baby and the mother were going? What if she planned them getting killed.. how did the baby survive? Wasn't that a bit TOO convenient??

I am assuming by this post that you have not started the 4th season yet  I made an assumption that you had.... er I am sorry about any spoilers you have come accross

Since I haven't watched the 4th season yet (was waiting until it ALL came out, but since thats not gonna happen anytime soon I guess I'll break down and watch the 10 that are available)

I thought i basically had the last 5 cylons figured out already at the end of season 3. (Remind me not to read to far into this thread again until i see them.. damn you spoilers! hah)

But.. .no way I'm watching them on the computer. Cant watch something like this via streaming crap-ass video. Need a decent copy of the things. :p

As for this new thing "Caprica" (they are calling it a "TV Movie" like they did with the BSG pilot, but really it was a dual purpose pilot/movie, that is, if there is enough support for it, they will/would turn it into a series) Being set during the first Cylon war, it'll be interesting to see how that all got started and such, but I cant help but think I'd rather just have more details about THIS time line, rather than jump all the damn way back 40 years ago.

BSG will probably become my new Star Trek type geek-out show. That is, watch the episodes way to many times and learn all the minuta and such long after the series is over.

You're not alone, fellow Dork-Galactican.

To be honest, I am really REALLY glad they are ending the series this season and going out while it still has all of it's respect. That to me is so much better then sinking into the depths of sci-fi cliche and yuckiness....

If they want to do frackin spin offs and crap, whatever.... nothing will be able to frack with this one now....

I am going to go out on a limb here and say it is The BEST SHOW on tv... Right up there with "The Prisoner" and "Twin Peaks" in my book.

*drools* twin peaks..

Wait a min.. Twin Peaks is a TV show? ..

I wouldn't mind a feature film or two (though with the story line, I guess it would be hard to pull off).

RAZOR kicked ass!

Unless everyone dies as a finally the story can go on....

GOD don't let it end like that!

I would not mind having a totally seperate story with none of the characters from the series... Whether they die or not... they have to leave it alone in it's current state.... awesome and strong.

That would be TRULY epic...

..I'ld like to see the survivors of the survivors do something...WHAT EVER IT IS!

Maybe JUST leave ONE bridge Officer from BSG alive...oooOO!

They seem to have some more "Razor" type shows in the works, that don't progress the "end" of the time line but that cover details of unexplored areas.

"Caprica" is a new show , set in the same universe, but with different characters (with the exception of possibly a very young William Adama and a few of the 50+ aged characters since its 40+ years ago.)

There was a series of long deleted scenes that cover the period where Saul and Adama Sr. meet, and how they were both on some garbage-scowl type ship and some coverage of their pre-galactica days which was great.. I wish they'd expand on that. (Its on the DVDs season 2 I think) Usually deleted scenes are just midly different takes on things that where already fairly clear, but this section I'm talking about could have been a whole different episode or even series of episodes.

Scattered (201)

• Saul Tigh meets Bill Adama

• Tigh’s temper, then and now

• Tigh remembers Adama’s return to the fleet

• Adama does Tigh a favor

and then some related "old times" short clip in:

Valley of Darkness (202)

Where Tigh tells a really gruesome story about his encounters with the cylons in the first war.

I am going to go out on a limb here and say it is The BEST SHOW on tv... Right up there with "The Prisoner" and "Twin Peaks" in my book.

The Prisoner used to be my favorite show period. I used to belong to the UK-based Prisioner fan club, get the newsletters and such. :geek: I wanted to order a print of the "country" backdrop they used in the episode "Living In Harmony" for the wall of my apartment at the time, but the ex-GF vetoed the idea. *shakes fist*

I usually toy with The Original Twilight Zone, The Prisoner and a few others roll around from time to time in my head (The Sopranos, Deadwood, Rome various possible candidates recently) BSG (and maybe Firefly) is definitely in the running for that very short list. I occasionally try to slip the original star trek in there, but that's more of an emotional pet-attachment show than a pure "quality" choice.
