Pink Label Corsets

Recommended Posts

I've never ordered anything from them, but personally based on what I see on their website, I wouldn't. Their boning is carbon steel, which is not steel at all, it's a softer metal, so it would probably bend and misshape after being worn a few times. They don't accept returns, just exchanges for another size, according to their policy on the website.

I ran across this post, I thought I should chime in. I am one of the owners at Pink Label Corsets. While its true., that coiled steel is heavier than the flex steel, the flex steel is very functional. The corsets are affordable, durable and well made. These are fabulous corsets and are made in the U.S, in fact here in Michigan, by a group of us.

We have decided to make the switch to coiled steel simply because we have seen posts like this before where people have assumed the corsets were no good because of the flex steel. It's a shame because these corsets are magnificent and even offer great waist reduction just with the flex steel alone, and we are able to offer them at a low price. With switching to coil, we will have to raise the price, which is what has happened to so many corsetiers which is why you can't normally find a great corset under $200 anymore. However with buying power for supplies, my corsets are made just as good and I don't overcharge. My vision for my company back in 1997 was to offer fair prices so that customers could actually afford an entire outfit, which by the way we make too.

We love our job, love what we do, and love our customers. We have never had a corset fall apart, ever, and Pink Label Corsets has been in business since 1997. It does say that I don't give refunds but that is just to keep away the dishonest people, what with international purchases not being covered by paypal and such. My true policy is, that I always honor any requests. We will typically get back about 3 returns a year and normally that is because the customer did not send in the correct measurements, and in that case, I always pay shipping for the exchange.

I adore my customers, and hopefully by now have developed a reputation as such. The models at exotica 3 partied in their Pink label Corset all weekend long and just loved the fit and look. I wasn't at Exotica 4, but I looked at the pictures and saw a couple of the same models again, wearing the same corsets I made them for Exotica 3.

Please, let me send you one, on me, so that you can make an informed public opinion since your readers obviously value your opinion. I believe in our clothing, in its quality, in its style and in our customer service.

Warmest Regards

Sturty

I see in the post that they have decided to switch to coil steel boning (which I looked up and a lot of people use) ... but when I looked up who else uses carbon steel boning, no one does. That should tell you something right there.

Ah, my curiousity is satisfied without sending an email.

As for the type of steel boning, I'm not going to form an opinion until I see physical data about the steel. Metallurgists can produce a wide variety of steel. For my purposes and my budget, they're perfect.

Actually this post right here, made me more interested in testing out one of your corsets. The fact that you would take the time to register, and comment on your product, says a lot.

The fact that you're also in Michigan also says a lot. I

I will purchase one in the next few weeks.. This can be my second interim corset before I lose the rest of my weight.. w00t!!!

and who knows, if I like the product, you may have a customer for life. :)
