Silverleaf Renaissance Faire

In less than two weeks the Silverleaf Renaissance Faire will commence it's run in Battle Creek, Michigan. It's a bit further of a drive than the one in Holly and it's also a newer festival which just moved to new land a few years ago so there aren't all those cool permanent structures that Holly has, but having worked at both festivals I can attest that the overall quality at Silverleaf is just better. Plus the entertainment is top notch especially because I'll have a show out there this year. :w00t:

The Ammic Romano Show

Ammic Romano is a very mysterious and powerful gypsy whose power is only exceeded by his mystery. Experience intimate involvement as he reads minds and tells fortunes! Witness masterful bullwhip stunts with danger at the speed of sound as he slices through targets and wields dual whips! Watch in awe as he superhumanly walks barefoot across and lays on broken glass without getting cut! There are some shows you'll remember forever and some you'll never forget. The Ammic Romano Show is both!

So, who's going to coordinate the DGN trip so y'all can come out and see me?

Hey Michelle....

Are they doing any equestrian schooling events this weekend (rings/joust/rapier)?

I know Jousting's a go...not sure what day it falls on though :p And I know they have fencing and heavy weponry along with throwing axe and knives, but of course those are on foot. :p Pluse there are a lot of classes going on saturday. :)

I just got back from Knights of Iron's last rehearsal before faire opens. Their shows are going to be phenominal! Some of you who went to that horror expo thing a year or two ago may remember their show "Vampire: Netherworld Apocalypse". I've known the group for almost a decade now and this has to be one of their best productions yet.

Great Show, Spook! I caught your last show - and spied you wandering around the grounds a few time. Nice whip work!

Sweet! Thanks.

You should've said hi.

I think my 2:00 on Sunday was my best performance so far, but the 3:30 was probably second best.

I saw your 3:30 show - and you were fantastic! The dual whips were hellacool. You chatted with two of my pals (two big tall guys with world of warcraft shirts on), however the few times I saw you, you were chatting with other folks and I did not want to interrupt. I will prolly be out there again on 7/26 and will make a point to introduce myself.

My act is going through a minor rewrite. I'm removing a chunk of clever character/language comedy mostly because it doesn't move the show forward at all. Rather than replace it with something else, I'll just spend more time with the good parts and make them great parts.
