What is the sound that greeted you to waking this morning?

Screaming, yelling children.

My neighbor who lives kitty corner from me is a widowed lady with two pre-teen boys who have A.D.D. She is always either working, or sleeping (god knows HOW, she MUST be a pill head), and her boys are out running the streets wild.

I can even hear these kids INSIDE their house carrying on late at night. Summertime SUCKS, because they are out of school, and I have to keep my windows open.

Each morning, I am woken at "sparrow fart" by these boys and about 6 other sandlot kids SCREAMING and carrying on RIGHT in front of my house. Yes, they scream and yell LOUD. Sometimes, they even start in with a fucking BASKETBALL or skateboards at 8 in the morning or earlier. Does anyone have any idea what this sounds like while echoeing through the sewer beneath the street, and then amplified by the thin walls of my vardo?? Like someone beating on my walls. :|

This continues from sun-up until long after sundown.

I cannot BELIEVE that none of my other neighbors (and I know there are others here on my street who work nights) have stepped up and said anything, yet.

I, for one, have JUST about had it.

It's time for the gorilla suit..

Next time I catch those boys out after dark, they will get the scare of their fucking LIVES. Maybe I can traumatize them into never speaking (or yelling and screaming) again, if I am lucky.

i love children (have 3 of my own) but i can not STAND when other people's kids are this way! i don't even let my kids play outside early because i don't want them to make any noise for the neighbors and my kids are quiet! but i still tell them when they ask, "no, it's too early" and all my neighbors around me even have kids but my kids get up earlier than anyone else so i still make them wait.

where i used to live the kids were fucking crazy. i hated it. i didn't let my kids play with them (they lived next door, it sucked) loud, out of control, doing bad shit... the parents either did not know or did not care. i was the one looking out seeing what was going on. i felt like the parent for the block. i had to yell at them sometimes (when they were on the roof throwing shingles in MY yard and bricks at each other) it sucks when you have to parent other's kids because they won't do it.

if my kids are out and they scream, cry, yell, fight AT ALL i make them come in until i know they won't do it again. maybe i am just a bitch or strict mom but i do NOT accept children "acting up".

lucky for me where i am now, the kids are either all super great or i just don't hear them because i have been here 6 months and so far- no problems. no noise. nothing. i am by a freeway which kind of creates "white noise" i guess so maybe i just don't hear it

They're out of control, and I've absolutely HAD it.

The neighbor bitch needs to give whatever pills she uses to sleep through these little fuckers to THEM.

I live right down the street from a hospital, so I hear ambulances...... A LOT! It usually doesn't bother me, unless, of course, it wakes my dead ass up like this morning. Thank the universe I usually have no problem going right back to bed!
