Well I'm new here. I actually found this place through a myspace of a person that was friends with my brother. I have been goth ever since I can remember. I just kinda wanted to come here, maybe make new friends in the area (since I don't know anyone besides myself in the detroit area that is goth). I also wanted to find some good places to go to and just have a good time. So I think I have said my peace.

1) I am in Roseville MI

2) I was born in Detroit and raised in the area

3) I'm a girl.

4) I am in the middle of trying to get a job.

5) I am going to school at Macomb Community College right now to take care of my general studies before I go to CMU for communications.

6) I don't have kids

7) I'm not married.

8) I am single.

9) I love music and writing. I play guitar and I just like to have a good time.

Umm I don't really understand how to move around here very well. This place is definatly a lot different then any other forum i have been on. Some help of how to do things and get around would be appreciated.

How to do everything and anything. Like moving around to putting up my pictures and working on my profile to finding my way through the threads here. Like I said, this is nothing like any other forum I have been to before.

Places to go: City Club on Fridays or Saturdays. (Saturday is far better attended- it's in downtown Detroit) Factory Monday at Necto in Ann Arbor. Mephistos in Hamtramck. Prive Lounge on Tuesdays (Downtown Detroit also)

Many DGNers will be at City tomorrow.

I have never been to a club ever! So I don't know where any of those are located. Sad thing is I used to live in Hamtramck and my brother still lives there. I don't even know where that one is. Is it right behind the video 22?

Before I came to DGN, I had never been on any forums at all..trust me, I'm net-stupid, if I can figure it out, anyone can. :)

If you need any help, I'm also one of the moderators (see? a little time and effort goes a long way). :)

Come to City Club on Saturdays, guaranteed way of making 20+ friends immediately. ;)

As it stands, joining DGN is a great start!!! :)

I live literally a city away from you and I understand the feeling of being the only goth person :laugh:. We're a little more scarce in Macomb County than say Oakland, Washtenaw or Wayne, but that just means we need to band together :animier:

So do you go to South Campus or Center? I was at South last semester but I'll be at Center this coming fall. Lemme know so I can look for ya.

      I will say it isn't all bad yet though.  We survived four years of the orange asshole.  We might survive another four.  All is not lost, until it is. There are those on that side that are going to do everything in their power to take and keep that power though.  Instead of the illusion of a one party system masquerading as a two party system, it really will just be a one party system.  People are talking about actively moving out of the US and renouncing their citizenship, or revolution if it comes to that. The woke and DEI scare tactics of the Russians, Chinese, and others have set in.  They have been trying to debase the USA for decades now ever since the world wars and I think  it's really starting to pick up steam.  All isn't lost yet, but it's currently 90 seconds to midnight, and that number is decreasing all the time. We just have to wait and see.  If people hit their breaking point by losing their comfort and convenience (and possibly their food/housing) then people may be held accountable for their misdeeds. Also the president is now a convicted felon so...  LOCK HIM UP!
