Onyx
I just don't have time lately to welcome all the newbies (Welcome all you! I love seeing all the new members) or wish all the birthday people happy birthday (so happy birthday to you all). *sigh* damn job! cutting into my online time way too much. Unfortunately I need to buy groceries and gas and stuff like that so back to work for me.
Brenda Starrr
You're not the only one. I think that we need to make TC the official greeter. I can't keep up. Welcome to all.

Troy Spiral (13)
Theres no law that says you "have to" welcome people. Its just a friendly thing to do. But to put it into perspective: At max peak times, 2-3 newbie "welcome" posts per day. (some days there is none at all) Total time to type "welcome" or "hello" and hit add reply: 10 seconds. Total average daily time comitment: 30 seconds. Even with the way i do it were i cut & paste the standard questions and try to come up with a sentence or two beyond just "hi" , its still maybe 3 minutes work per day to welcome all the newbies. Many days its no work at all. If i havent done it for a week, it >might True you might want to post something more meaningful than just "Hi" but "hi" is better than nothing at all. 99% of "newbies" will never read a "group welcome" type post that is meant for "hey all you newbies". Mostly a wasted effort. I think theres just a bit of a shock value of not having checked this forum for a few days and seeing "OMG! theres like 10 newbie posts!!" (which i reality is only about 2 minutes work) But seems like more.
Onyx
That puts it into perspective a bit better I think I'm getting bogged down looking at all the total number posts I haven't read instead of picking through them and getting to the ones I have time for.
