Future transportation possibility. (For me)

Basically a high-tech, three wheeled motorcycle/snowmobile sorta hybrid. More then decent performance, good fuel economy, abs, stability control, clutchless shifting (OK... I like having a clutch) and decent aesthetics. All for $15,000. Not a steal, but not too bad either. And it doesn't high-side or drop you like a bike will in loose or slippery surfaces. (Sorry, but I'm still smarting from a crash I had some years ago.)

That thing is cool!

I've seen a couple of them on the roads over here.

The first time I saw one, I was like WTF!!!???

LOL.

Interesting concept though.

I am imagining what it would look like going thru a turn.

Part of the street I live on, has a small downhill portion that dumps into a 45 degree right turn, and I was just thinking about what it might be like to see that thing take that turn....interesting.

It also looks like it could be a blast if you are on dirt or snow and go into a turn and get the rear end to skid off to the side and turn toward the skid and hit the gas at the same time.

OK.. Gas mileage ain't all that great... 30ish mpg... however, if you put that into perspective with it's performance, it's not bad at all. Still. I'd expect to get 40ish or better from something this small and light.

Brian. There's some vid on YouTube of it doing exactly what you're talking about.

and $15K? That's just about what I bought my used Honda Civic for. It's 11 yo and still getting 36 mpg and has a roof for when it is cold out. It doesn't look hot though.

This thing is as fast as a current Corvette and a Corvette does not get 30+ MPG. A Corvette also costs $50-60,000.

I got 36-38 with my Focus, on the highway. The Aveo outta be better then 32. Then again... that may be city.

EDIT: Roofs are overrated. That's what the Van of Doom is for. :p

yeah, 32 is city...around 38 highway. I love that car.
