Mean Salley
I would like to formally request the heads of the bloke in charge of all the construction planning on 75. Is there ever NOT a shit-ton of construction and delays in Detroit? I was headed up yonder north on Saturday for Le Festival du Rennaisance and I lost count of the number of near accidents and fender-benders I saw. Then at one point I see this cute little red pickup truck pulled over on the median in the middle of the highway trying to fix something inside of his truck. Then Big Barbara Waffle-smash came careening around the corner, got distracted by all of the construction and collided with the dudes truck at like 70 mph. This dude burst through his front windshield in an asplosion of glass and gore and splayed his taint on the railing 20 yards down the road. Then some crazy hippie cat-horde lady panicked when she drove by and swerved into the guard rail firing her 60 year old, narcoleptic, Jerry Garcia throwback hubby out the side window and into a cluster of Rhododendrons on the far side of the highway. Then she got out of her car and wandered onto the highway screaming, "MY JUGGULAR VEINS ARE SPLURTING HOT FRESH BLOOD ONTO MY FACE BREAST CHEST NECK AND HEAD!!!" Luckily the county sheriff was right nearby and dashed to the rescue. HE brandished a roll of duct tape and a billy club and said. "Hold on now woman! I'm a bonk you unconscious and wrap ya wounds up right propah- like!" But the woman had so much adrenaline going and so much chubby hair on her head that he kept whacking across the nugget and she wouldn't go down. To top it all off A construction dude working on the overpass was tippin' some beefeater outta his lunchie thermos and dropped a jackhammer onto the swirling melee below and skewered Big Barbara Waffle-Smash and her pipin' hot angus beef burger from BK and pinned them to the ground. That was all I saw because I kept driving. IT was a terrible day of great carnage and endless woes. None of that really happened, but 75 is all messed up. I had 6 pieces of cinnamon toast for breffis this morning. I digress Does this belong somewhere else?
Guest greyhalo
I get to see this sort of thing every day driving to and from work. Yes, I-75 (North and South for that matter) is a mess right now. One night I was driving home from work, and all of the sudden all 3 lanes were blocked off, and I had to drive on the shoulder of the road for at least a mile.
