Into Anthropormorphics/Furry Art

Recommended Posts

Oh, and one reason I feel so anti-yif is because can't ANYTHING retain innocence these days? Can't anything remain "clean" for those of us who don't need sexual, violent or other strong imagery in our lives on a regular basis?

I mean, Janet Jackson has a tattoo of Minnie Mouse giving Mickey Mouse a blowjob on her pelvic area. And her explaination, (paraphrasing) "They're so sweet and innocent, but you know there's some nasty going on there somewhere." WHATTHEFUCK?!?!?!

I don't have a problem with sexuality - I have my own turn-ons. I don't have a problem with some violence - I like some pretty strong modern art and Arnold movies. But I DO have a problem with people having a problem letting innocence survive in this day and age. I'm tired of people being able to get away with saying, "if you're against such images, you're a repressed prude". No - I'm not. I'd just like there to be SOMETHING untouched & "safe" left in the world to connect with when I've had my fill of the intense, deep & shocking.

Hun, I can sympathize, or relate in a way.

Ya remember that show, Digimon? Talk about reading fanfictions where Angelmon and Agewomon engage in some dirty acts. I read that and I was like "OMG, not the angels. Come on, anyone but the angels." Now that I look back on that, sure, dirty fanfiction/fanart is fine to me, whether it be yiff or anything like it, but that story was too short, too simplistic and just "Ohh, lemme shove my staff into your hole and see what happens."

Same thing with Janet Jackson's tattoo. I didnt know about it but my goodness, it's DISNEY!! However, Disney has done some pervy stuff to their movies, but Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse?! They're supposed to be total innocence. Meant for comic relief, not sexual relief.

EDIT

Plus that, when miss Janet gets all old, wrinkly and lumpy, who on earth is going to want to see an old, wrinkly and lumpy Minnie sucking on an old, wrinkly, lumpy dick that belongs to an old, wrinkly and lumpy Mickey? EEEEEEWWW!!

Those kind of people deserve things -much- worse than a slow painfull death.

That'd be about the only way I could tolerate anything Disney... in some totally warped & transgressive context. Maybe I don't venerate the Mouse like most people 'cos I wasn't allowed to see any of their movies as a child... whatever, I've been pretty kawai-intolerant from a very early age

Anthropomorphic means basically giving animals human attributes. Bugs Bunny, Sylvester, Mickey Mouse - anytime you "humanize" an animal, pretty much that's anthropomorphism.

Anthropomorphic art is sometimes called "furry" art. There are different types. For instance both of the following can be considered anthropomorphic/furry art:

The first one is more to the strictly anthropomorphic side of things, where a more realism style is used. When you get cutesy and sorta like anime, then it's a lot more definitive of what furry art is.

Yif is furry art featuring nude furries and more often furries having sex. "Yif" comes from (or so I've been told) the sound foxes make when mating. If the couple in the 2nd pic were actually getting it on, it'd kinda go from straight "furry" to "yif".

The word "furries" tends to refer to people who like to put on animal costumes in a more than Halloween type of way. Some of them have sex in costume, some don't.

Plushies get sexual gratification from plush - stuffed animal toys.
