What do you do when you start to date someone..

Lets face it, there's lots of competition out there, what do you guys/girls do that makes you so unique..that makes guys/girls say hey.. this is THE ONE (or at least for a time being).

I respect the person, with honesty...i don't lie to them about anything, even when it isn't "nice"....

In the long run, in any relationship.....even little white lies are meticulous.

If it ends in a break up, I leave knowing I had shown respect for the both of us.

I find that its important to realize that there is a difference between the circumstances going on in ones life when thinking about this. You always have choices.

I think Hunhee meant what does a person do that makes them different from the rest.

Like what is it that makes the man better then the douchebag that the woman just dumped?

Or, vice-versa, what does the woman that the man is currently with, do that makes her better then the woman he just recently dumped ?

I don't think the circumstances going on in each of the peoples' lives is what's being looked at here.

I think its more of like will you treat someone better then the previous person did ?

Open doors...(gives you a good view )

Be DOMESTIC...(chicks dig it & if you practice often, you won't have to do it in a hurry on date night )

Go shopping with them...(nothing better than picking out what you'll be throwing in a pile on the floor later )

Know how to fix stuff...(if they don't find ya' handsome, at least they should find ya' handy )

Compose her poetry & sweet prose...(& or DUH! )

Share your Fetishes, Spiritual & Sexual...(or all is lost )

Ask her how she feels...(you can not ignore her daily moods...they let you know so much )

LISTEN TO HER TWICE AS HARD WHEN SHE SAYS "NEVER MIND" OR "WHATEVER"...(you just fucked up something )

Don't forget to tell her you Love her when her Mom {or your freind} is there...(big points on this one! )

When you tell her you Love her, MEAN IT! & don't abbreviate it to save time...

I'm very honest with people too, almost to a fault. One of my many mottos is "don't ask if you don't want to know because I WILL tell you the truth." Thank God I do have SOME tact, but I am honest if people really want to know something.

I'm so awesome, why would someone not want to date me? All kidding aside, I am kind, generous, thoughtful, loving and very giving in relationships as well (as to people who give me no reason to dislike them). I like to think of myself as an all around good person.

Though I am not the most beautiful woman in the world, I don't think I'm ugly by any means, I do wish I had more of a collar bone ( I think that looks so sexy) though *sigh*.

I guess there are times when you need to go out of your way and do something unusual/special in order to gain someone's attention, but mostly that feels like throwing out false ides of who and what you are. Not a good way to start a relationship, IMO. Personally, I think the time for special gestures is AFTER the relationship is established. In that context, it's understood as such and probably appreciated more.

heh, its amusing yes. just like some american accents perk my interest up.

nature of being exotic, but that wont last forever (infact Mi is about the only place i've been where i didnt loose my accent after a week) and after that....

as a matter of fact an accent can be a barrier. it took Marblez some time to even understand my at the Restraunt in Yipsi

besides the accent i have aint exotic here, and accents vary from town to town. people instantly recognise that i'm a "turk" (Slang word from someone from or around Llanelli)
