It's hard not to feel rejected when you send someone a dozen red roses and they don't call you or anything.

No, it's an old story about putting interns in there place in the hierarchy of things:

• Professor draws the surface of the ocean. "this is where I am."
• Draws a whale underwater. "This is where the chief residents are."
• Draws whale dropping feces. "This is where junior residents are."
• Draws feces on the floor of the ocean. "This is where the nurses are (no offense, people.)"
• Puts an x below the ocean floor. "This is where you are. You are lower than whale droppings."

This nurse is a higher on the scale.....I put all of those docs in their places, beneath me.

Yep, I was right. Last week at City a chick asked if she could be my date to the Dirty Show tonight. I called her a couple times over the week and never got a hold of her. She never returned my calls so I was dateless tonight. Once again, my plans were canceled due to a chick flaking out on me. I seem to be collecting those lately.

I was pretty much expecting this but still, it doesn't mean it doesn't hurt.
