How Are You Feeling?

Thanks Tron, I've referred people here in the past. I never heard of the third link, wonder if ovarian is included too? I'll check it out, I get insurance in December through work but I was in so much pain I couldn't work, then I got the meds but can't drive on them which is a big part of my job. It's frustrating.

My sister takes Vicodin and she suggested cutting it in half.

I can't take narcotics so the doctor put me on Tramadol.

I was given Naproxsen for when it gets really bad.

Most of my work involves chauffeuring so I must stay alert.

Just some suggestions...

I did that, but I think if I don't eat on vics it messes me up..see I can't do tramadol at all, complete opposite.

Interesting, part of the requirement for Vicodin is to eat...after my sister's accident and the removal of a 7lb fibroid from her abdomen, she is on 5 different meds, multiple nutrients and Lidoderm patches and creams to remain pain free for a day. I had to take over as her medicine administer because she would forget to eat and would overdose from time to time. The head trauma she suffered from the accident pretty much screwed up her short term memory and causes confusion and forgetfulness over long periods of time.

I am glad my condition is not that bad, but my system is not used to medication so when I started taking Tramadol back in June, I threw up for 2 days. I didn't say anything to the doctor because I had just made it under the cutoff period qualification for medication regulations for the uninsured. I started breaking the tablets in half and trained my stomach to the dosage every 12 hours for 5 days. After that, I was able to take it as needed, but still only a half at a time and not more than twice in a 12 hour period...

Just giving a brief behind the scenes look into the wonderful world of personal pain management as experienced on this end...rofl.gif

Had a feeling this would happen because I have been doing good for so long.

I was finally able to wake 15 minutes ago and heard the high was 74 degrees today

That bites, could have gotten a lot of work done, but oh well.

Feels like I need a sleeping pill. I keep waking up every 20 minutes

Hey, you sound like me the last couple nights...I not only wake up but I'm also famished. The hunger for me is a symptom of my new health problem but the sleep, I'm not sure. Hugs, I hope you can sleep tonight.

It doesn't happen very often, but I am feeling completely, mind numbingly bored! I am feeling disappointed with the avenues of which I am attempting to amuse myself. I feel that if I entertain myself with any more porn, it will have dire consequences. I feel I have an idea of what I might need, but I will not pursue it. I feel very frustrated.

Crappy...I made a mistake and lost 4lbs and it has taken 3 days to put it back on.

Unfortunately, now my body is upset at me and keeps trying to dump the weight.

I just need to maintain it for 3 more days and I'll be good again...right now, got to go stop the pain...
