Yeah, we have been doing that for 3 years now. They just keep getting new animals after the other set mysteriously disappear. The majority of the adults in the household are ex-cons and know the system very well...catching them in the act is the only option we have left...and they are too good for that so far.

If you are able to hear them, can you record their "abuse"? Or is there a visible area where you can record them in the act? Perhaps outside in the backyard?

That's truly disturbing. You can help your little friends with little acts such as letting your neighbour's mail get mysteriously disappear, or make appear a brown bag of human poop on their front door... just to name a few

Their mother has already unleashed her verbal abuse on my mother (in front of their house) and myself (in my own back yard) just off a belief that I was the one who contacted animal cruelty investigators that arrived at their home earlier that morning due to a dog in their backyard that appeared to have a broken hip. All the neighbors who are not intimidated by them are in a position to do something, they just figured it was me because I had been helping them get settled for the first 3 months of their move in and taking care of their "pets" so they felt they knew me well enough to direct their anger at me.

No matter who does anything, it will always come back on me. I wasn't even involved the day the police arrived, yet I got to hear about it as I was walking up my front sidewalk, which is how I found out. We are still trying anything we can. It's just been so long that it's getting to me now.

Perhaps one or few people can't do anything to stop these bullies but a bigger community and as a whole can? Sign a petition to kick them out of the building. If this is a street community, complain to your higher up as a whole group.

2 years ago, we did, that's when everything got drug up and down the street and they felt it was their right to get ghetto on everyone who did or said anything. Out of 8 houses, 2 had my neighbor's back, one was robbed and verbally assaulted then moved away out of fear for their lives, 2 distanced themselves, the last 3 banned together. We agreed to not notice them and they would leave us alone. Then my neighbor's and the 2 houses that had their back started fighting with each other. My neighbors moved their animals inside to hide their actions. Now they only let the dogs out on the back balcony. That is where they poop and get beat. Then as quickly as it started, it's over.

I guess long story short, we are at "cold war" stalemate...I have one more plan, but I'm not saying anything about it just yet...

Interesting you would say that because as I was sending that particular message out, I heard 2 muffled sounds like gunshots then at 9:08pm, I heard one of the ladies scream in the same area I heard the muffled sounds come from. Suddenly vehicles were loaded and people were coming and going for the next 90 minutes.

A source confirms that the police have documented calls regarding that location as well as suspected activity. They just have to be caught in the act...thus my soon to be surveillance (but you didn't hear that from me )

I watch a lot of (maybe too much) ID TV and these people are into drug runs, dog fighting and won't hesitate to call a drive by on you if they feel you to be a threat. We are staying low key so as not to appear as such. I must have evidence in order to prove a need for police protection in the event of a retaliation. This is the reason we have suffered through all of this for so long. But it feels that everything is about to come to a head one way or another. I'm just hoping for a civil solution to it all and hope we can spare the next set of animals they go for.

I must admit I was so naive when I heard them trying to fight dogs over there when they first moved in, I went running out the house in the middle of the night like a mad woman with a flashlight and a 3 ft long dance bar yelling like a maniac because I thought a stray dog had attached my other neighbor's little dogs. The boys that saw me yelled that it was OK, grabbed their dogs and broke wide for a red vehicle waiting in front of their house.

They never tried that again. I believe they have turned the house into a breeding factory...(pure speculation from things we've witnessed)
