How Are You Feeling?

Feeling like I'm trying not to be petty, but I supply these kids with everything they need for school and extracurricular activities and the only thing I ask of them is to let me know when they are in need of more supplies or replacements.  So yes, I get my nose out of joint when I have spent money on all these supplies just to have a particular kid ask their instructors for supplies the kid already knows is available if they just ask me.

So now I just feel like telling them to go ask their teacher for stuff the next time they remember I'm alive and bother to ask me for supplies.

Feeling totally exhausted but good.  Just getting back in from a birthday outing I was treated to by the baby sister.  Me and my siblings got the chance to hang out together at Punch Bowl Social and Vault of Midnight in Downtown Detroit.

Well you guys know I'm not one to complain 🤣🤣.....

So I guess I feel like I should.

I'm such a cow. I'm eating barely anything and my fat ass is still that. I quit sugar, I don't drink pop, I mean I drink diet but I've cut down significantly.  I eat less than 30 carbs a day most the time.

What I ate today:

-Awaken had 8 oz water with ACV and lemon.

1-Coffee, sweetened with monk fruit and a collagen protein powder and a splash of sugar free cream, total carbs= 2

2-Sugar free oatmeal packet with 2 tablespoons peanut butter for protein all together totaled 20 net carbs.

3. A bang energy drink, cotton candy flavored.  0 carb,  0 cal, 0 sugar.

Zevia cola 2 12 ounce cans total today and tons of water.

Dinner:

Scrambled eggs with heavy cream and cream cheese. About 2 carbs total.

A slim fast protein shake drink also, 1 net carb.

And my evening ACV/lemon juice drink again.

Combined daily total calories:1274

Carbs daily total: 30

Is that too much, is it unhealthy? I've lived off fast food and garbage for almost 40 years.  I think I've fucked my body from all l the years when was on adderall because I basically starved myself to be real while on that for the first couple years, I went days without food, just coffee and diet coke, between that and the hashimoto's and PCOS I'm feeling doomed.

I been drinking so much water it's so different from my usual habits.  I think I was a binge eater my entire life (except the adderall i.e. hell years)  I watch all these fat hating video's on YouTube to try and motivate myself to hate myself more because it sounds completely healthy, right?

I have a goal to lose just 10 percent of my body weight by my birthday in less than 2 months. I've lost 16ish since November but I stalled since last month.

In summary, I feel hopeless.

Depending on your physical activities (exercise) will determine how fast or slow your body processes your daily calorie intake.  Weight Loss takes a while (sometimes 2 weeks to 2 months) before real progress can be seen.  The trick to it is to not give up.  Continue towards your goal weight.  Remember, if done properly, you will only have to do it once then maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Also, it's not healthy to watch "fat hating videos".  All that does is cause you to have an unconscious dislike towards your own appearance, causing a psychosomatic block against your progress.  Your mind will start blaming your body and then you will have discord causing self doubt and hindering any progress you have already made which might result in a reversal of your efforts.

Just maintain positiveness.

Take heart, Kat!  Remember: you didn't gain it all in a few days, months... it may have taken YEARS.  So focus on the same type of baby steps, but only in the other direction.  If you can lose a few ounces a day, that will translate into pounds each week.  In a few months, or a year, you'll see a big difference.

Also, don't let water retention make you crazy!  Just ride it out.  It's temporary.

A law of physics is this: if you burn more calories than you ingest, you cannot help but lose weight.  It's a fact.  Diet is WAY more important than exercise!  Exercise is great for developing muscle tone, but crappy as a weight loss method.  (Ever notice how efficient our bodies are?  Ever watched the "calories burned" counter on an elliptical or stationary bike at the gym... at the same pace that paint dries?)  By all means, stay active!  Movement is life!  But it's all about the calories.  (Carbs are just a different form of sugar, ultimately.  But if you must choose between carbs and sugar, choose the carbs, because the body must convert them before using them, making them actually "cost" energy to consume.)  Ultimately, though, it's calories.

</unsolicited advice>  :)

Best of luck!!!
