Trene4000
I've discovered something really strange over the past few years. Whenever I say "I'll see you later to someone I just met,I either never see them again. It is a weird phenomenon that has happened repeatedly to me over and over again and it's annoying. I promised to write a letter to someone once I got home but I lost their address and the place they were shut down. I couldn't find them. I'm still looking. She was a good friend. Another example of this phenomenon, I met a really cool old guy who was well versed in coins and paper dollars, something I like collecting. Okay, I really love collecting. He was just like me. We spent hours comparing coins and I learned a lot. Unfortunately, it was while I was attempting to sell him a water purifier. I told him I'd visit again after my boss had me leave. Two days later, a crazy person threatened me with a bat, claiming I caused him to hit somebody else's car. My boss only wanted to know how late I would be. I quit that night. I didn't have health insurance and worked for commission. It wasn't worth it. After I got over my shock I realized I never got the old man's last name or phone number. Another instance much closer to home. I picked up a guy stranded by the roadside by his broken down car. It was a beauty. I asked if he needed a service station but turns out he lived half a mile away and was trying to reach his buddy. I took him to his home, picked up the buddy and dropped them off at his vehicle. He wanted to know if I'd call him. I said sure. He gave me his number and said he didn't believe I would. I reassured him that I would and continued on to work where my supervisor chewed me out for not being as early to work as she thought I should have been. I arrived one hour earlier than my normal fifteen minutes early time. She wanted me there at five a.m. Three hours early. Would've been nice if she had told me that before I left the night before. I'm not a mind reader. Anyway, by the end of the work day I discovered I had actually forgotten his number. That was troubling since I was a walking phone book. I heard a phone number once and remembered it. Needless to say, I was stumped. I hadn't had that happen to me since third grade which was why I started memorizing numbers in the first place. I went back to the street I remembered dropping the guy off and surprise! I couldn't find the house. I made sure to note that the house was a double lot with four broken down cars in the side yard being repaired, the house had no address, green trim, brown old fashioned wood slats for siding, and a blue eyed husky that sat on the front porch guarding the man's aunt sitting in her rocking chair. The guy told me the dog never leaves his aunt's side. She even thanked me for helping him out and his sister made a joke about his broke down car. I went to that street looking for all of that life, because his neighbors were heckling him too. I couldn't find the house. I drove up and down that block, then the entire street. I drove down the other two streets just in case I had the name wrong. Years later, I still haven't found that house nor have I seen him again. I've experienced this, not only with people, but entire stores. A computer store in downtown Royal Oak. Told the salesperson I'd see them after payday. Went back and the store was closed. Found another computer parts store. Asked them to hold on to a computer I wanted to purchase. Store shut down. Value City Furniture outlet where I was going to retrieve a globe I had purchased but had to return it. I told them I'll be back. They held it for me but the store shut down in that area. I went to visit a friend of my sister. The first time I simply said goodbye. I later began saying "Laters" each time. However, I said see you later once and that was the last time I saw them. It may seem weird but that seems to be how it works. It even works now that I know that. I had been going to the Sears that was shutting down. For months we shipped there catching all their sales. The last time I went I said see you later to the cashier who'd been helping us the entire time. Sure enough, the store was completely closed down the next week. My sister had even gone back and made more purchases. I made plans to go the next day but something came up and I couldn't go. I wasn't too surprised when she told me they finally closed. Maybe I'm just paranoid but you can easily see why I would think that. So I simply avoid saying I'll see you later to people I really want to see again and avoid saying I'll be back again to places I really want to go back to. It may seem silly but better safe than sorry. Thus ends the ramblings of this one.

TronRP
Feels like it's time to begin yardwork. Mother Nature is going to suddenly melt all the snow at once and brush undergrowth is going to happen overnight...I can just feel it...
TronRP
Feels like a heavy veil of depression is falling around the HomeHouse. It's like we are currently in a no win situation and the medical field is not truly interested in investing progressive resources towards an actual recovery. Unfortunately, due to the fact that I do not have a certification in the field of nutrition, my words are taken with a massive grain of salt for the one who needs to hear them the most. TronRP
Feeling like I should have known better than to fall asleep. Made a mistake and let my guard down and now I have to handle a sick kid along with running errands, taking care of the wildlife and looking after a cancer patient who can't be around the sick kid.
