How Are You Feeling?

Another funeral (but this one is in Michigan and was expected). Not looking forward to explaining to the boys. Especially my 7 year old who is scared to death of death, but have no choice since their father has plans and refuses to remember we discussed this awhile ago.

I'm also wondering where their dress shoes are ... They wear them to school, where'd they go?

As hard as it is though, it's best if they really know when they're young because if they're hit with death as they get older it's harder to adjust to the idea. All the kids in my family were well versed on the subject by the time we were probably 5-6 and had it fully sink in permanently by around 10-11, so as hard as it is it will be a beneficial learning experience for him, so don't feel to hard on yourself for having to bring them. I think my first funeral was when I was 6 or 7 and it was a friend of my mother's mom who died and I still remember it well.

Oh...and how do I feel right now? Like I can't breathe through my nose.

A bit pissed off, because obviously someone has a big f*cking mouth. I will NEVER try to protect the newbies from lecherous advances, ever again.

Like I agree with Cherny on the kids/funeral/death issue.

Like I really want ice cream... and chicken wings... and chocolate... and alcohol... and...

I can't read Cher's yellow font on the white background on the BlackBerry (both laptops are malfunctioning and have been for a few days) but I also forgot to add that my 7 year old is Autistic and isn't going to understand for awhile yet. He wakes himself up sometimes with nightmares of dying and cries himself to sleep saying he doesn't ever want to die. It's almost an obsession with him.

Fucking pissed. NewEgg.com won't let me return the piece of crap Roxio software I bought, but they will give me a replacement if I want. The software doesn't work for what I need it to do..why would I want a freaking replacement.

There's 40 bucks down the drain that I really didn't have in the first place.
