[06/04, Sat] Manic's Rage at the 2500 club

Well hopefully no one went to the Double 00 to see us play last night, we got there and none of the other bands even showed, and the sound guy was all drunk and missing teeth, and wanted us to play in a fricken corner, so we bailed and went to a keg party and jammed there a lil bit......

But this next show has a stage, plus 3 other bands playing besides us, and it only costs 5 bucks....

WSG punk band all the way from DC, Plan R! Also playing Nuke and the Living Dead, The Sals and us.

Ps: If i notice people are viewing this and not repleying, this well be the last post you see from me on DGN, I left here before cuase I was moderating this section and none of my posts ever had any repleys, I know its more of a fricken techno fest/ goth industrail board, but expand your horizions a lil and come support Detroit talient, and if thats not enough come out and hang with me in my enviroment, and have a few drinks and watch me jam...

Thats all, hopefully I'll see some of you there, if not well fuck ya for not supporting me :-p

Umm punk mostly, but the band im in has more of the glam look, and the punk rock speed, if you like 80's music im sure you'll dig us, and I know nuke has a pretty decent following, there almost like old misfits/danzig.. And I mean shit its only 5 bucks for 3 bands, if people come out and dont like it, the club isint that far away, and I'll just be happy that they showed, if they stay thats kool, but hey I know we all have different tastes, but I go to the club to hang out with my friends there, and I dont like half the music that place plays, so come hang out with me and deal :-p lol

I'd be interested as well. The one thing I like about the Double OO is that the owner actually pays the bands to play there. There isn't a cover at the door and the drink prices don't go up. The owner is actually in a band as well so he knows about door percentage payments and pay to play crap. He tries to support all the local talent the only way he knows how.

hey sweetie, I dont know if this is the same double 00 that your thinking about, but this place sucked, I mean it wasn't even a live band worthy enviroment, and they wanted us to play on a almost broken pa system, and he said he might be able to get one mic, and I dont believe we were going to get piad for the show, plus no one was there so we left, but this next show at the 2500 club should be good, its a decent venue, and we are playing with some better known bands, so hopefully I'll see ya there ;-)

Ok, futher info,

heres how the show is going so far, looks like nuke and the living dead are going to open the show, then plan 9 from dc. are playing, then Manics Rage will be headlining the evenings events, OHHH YEAH!!!!! were the headliners baby!!!!!!

Ohh and after we get off stage nuke will be shooting some more footage for thier Brew Crew video, So come get a beer in your hand and be in the action at the end of the show......
