Anyone remember Ascension UK? Fond memories? Please tell

That place has been gone for a while. I'm not exactly sure why it closed. But, weren't there mostly gamers hanging out there on a regular basis?

I remember walking there a few times after CC closed. Usually some Vampire LARP going on. Leaving AUK one morning some bum tried to sell me toothpaste. Whatever.

I used to go there all the time much before going to CC. Lee ended up closing the place up and moving to Ireland I think because of some relatives there. I saw her visit back a few years after the closing now and then at the City Club and she had changed by dying her hair blonde and losing some weight. I remember chatting with Raven, some domme with a fetish of not having her panties on lol. That and a guy that had a foot fetish. Ah the great intimate atmospheres. Oh and the gay guy named Dave that used to inhabit the place and sometimes wore cow print chaps, I shit you not lol

The Human Drama show there was one of the best shows I've ever seen. Rhea's Obsession did a couple of capacity shows, too - just about everybody at the 2nd one was a musician. Black Tape For a Blue Girl, Attrition (I got drafted to run their smoke machine)...good times.
