Employment Itt?

My husband got laid off from EDS recently. He had been with the company for 7 years. He had a job lined up with another account(Onstar) but they decided after he started that they couldn't wait for him to come on board full time since he was still tied up with the other account and he lost the position. He tried to get another job within the company but by this time all the jobs are contract only since EDS is being bought out by Hewlett Packard. They don't know whats going to happen and therefore don't want to hire anyone except contract. So basically my husband got screwed. He even had another job offer but turned it down since he had landed the Onstar position.

So now my hubby is out of work and not finding much. He use to work in Auburn Hills and has worked in Warren, Troy and Lansing for different EDS offices. We live in the Flint area. He doesn't really want that drive again but jobs are slim and he has to go where the money is.

Does anyone know of any jobs? He has an associates in Computer Science and has experience with networking and alot of other computer related things. He has worked on a helpdesk. If anyone knows of any open positions or anything please let me know. I would be ever so grateful.

If he doesn't find anything within 6 months we are prolly gonna end up moving out of state. Thank goodness he is getting his full severance pay and unemployment.

I went to back to skool myself recently , sadly I'll probably have to leave this state to get a job...I'm going into networking
