you sh miss 56k.

But seriously though, for whole albums/movies/software, you want to download a bit torrent client and go with that.

find out more from google: http://www.google.com/search?num=100&hl=en...torrent&spell=1

I personally recommend BitComet, it's userfriendly and easy to figure out.

We've used WINMX off and on for 3 years, and switched primarily to it with Kazaa going to hell. There are things I like about it, things I don't like. I think they could simply some basic functions like restarting or re-ordering downloads, but I'll take what I can get.

You can still get download of Kazaa Lite free versions on the web, but it takes a LOT of google searching.

Torrent is very good for downloading big stuff. But i havent found it all that useful for finding mp3s so far.

Shareaza is the new kid on the block and seems to work well (if a wee bit slow) works the way kaaza did plus connects to multiple networks at the same time and will let you search and search and search and search , unlike kaaza.

I hate Kazaa.

WinMX is ok

BearShare is probably the best I've found so far. I can usually find industrial, gothic, ebm very easily where WinMX I can barely find anything, and if I do, it takes forever to connect or download (cable). With BearShare it's easy to find what I want and it connects and downloads very quickly..
