A Nightmare?

So, normally if Ihave a bed dream i forget aboutit within a few days. Theother night I had one that disturbs me to no end.

I went to hang out with some friends in the dream..though when I got there, I didn't know anybody... Let me rephrase that. The dream me knew them all but that part of me that is aware that "this is a dream" didn;t know a soul. there were about 6 or 8 guys there. At first we wee just hanging out and bullshitting. Then the one who seemed to be my closest friend says he wants to show me something and they all start ushering me to another room. When we get there, they all start insisting I get in the shower stall that is inthe middle of the room. When I refuse to go, still thinking this is some joke, they start forcing me. After a bit of a tussle they managed to force me into the box and water starts to rain on me from everywhere. This is where it gets disturbing. I knew, no doubt about it.. they were going to kill me. The last thing I reemmber is screaming as the arcs of electricity started to play between my fingers and my jaws clenched..

then I woke up...

WTF?

Sounds like you are extremely stressed about something.

Sometimes I have dreams like that when I'm coming down with something or asleep while in pain. I had horrible nightmares like that when I was recovering from surgery and hurting a lot.

That is a tough one....... hmm

I have a dream interpretation book that I could look into, lemme find it.....

::: goes to look :::

::: back :::

And it isnt telling me what I want to find.....besides the fact that usually people have bad dreams when they're more stressed. But also, dream recollection descreases under stress or depression.

Here's a bit from the book......

Good Dreams, Bad Dreams

----- ----- ----- Are you a dream pessimist or a dream optimist? Maybe you dont want to dream too much because you're afraid you'll have nightmares or find out someone you love might die or have to face the snakes or spiders crawling out of the recesses of your mind. On the other hand, you may love dreaming because you feel so free and all-seeing. You can fly, breathe underwater, be young, ld, male, female, a different reace or nationality, a plant or an animal.

Experiencing Love and Fear

----- ----- ----- All peope have a vast repository of past experiences sort and filled in their memory banks according to two categories: love and fear. The memories you hold relating to love came from past experiences in which you felt similar or connected to others, life and the divine. You thus felt safe, whole, complete, expressive, and expansive. Love comes from the experience of unity and is life-promotiong; it is always oriented toward growth and creativity.

----- ----- ----- the meories you hold relating to fear are the result of past experiences where you felt disconnected from others, life, and the divine. You thus felt unsafe, incomplete, untrusting, isolated and paralyzed. fear comes from the experience of separation and is life-restricting, oriented solely toward survival.

_____________

So, my interpretation of this dream, as you said you remember being afraid in your dream, is that it's a sign to tell you there is something wrong in your life, something that leaves you very uncomfortable to the point where it brings out pure instinct in your subconscious. Pray tell, what's the first thing that comes to mind when I ask "Anything wrong in real life?"

If you have any questions, this book also provides some websites int he back, you can send me a PM and I can link you. ^^

(( Ugh, long post ))
