If the two of you are serious then maybe someday I will tattoo you.  =)

I'm totally serious. I want sleeves, and am part way there already. I just need to find an artist I can trust. Do you have a pic of your first piece? If so, email me.

I would love to see it. Or, just post it in here...whatever is easiest or most comfortable for you.

:blink straight to people? you did NO "practice" on any surface before doing people??? chickens? hehe sorry.. i am a little shocked.. how did it turn out? was your pressure ok? they didnt "puff up" bad? or shaky lines??

well, i learned how to tattoo roughly 10yrs ago.. i remember laughing at how awkward the vibration was at first but i got used to it quickly, and i wasnt nervous because.. i was doin' fruit.. then i did a tribal tattoo on a chicken...

you said "what a rush" in your first post... what kind of art did you "tag" on your 1st "customer? how long did it take? <just curious.. its been a while since i was in that atmosphere...>

Wow so much to answer. :laughing

Let's see if I get to all your questions. Yes, I went straight to a real live person. No practice. What I did was I touched up an old tatto on my friend. It turned out good. He's happy with it and it didn't get very red, it didn't puff up and the color is even. I checked on it the next day.

It was a rush for me to be doing it. It made me want another tattoo. :laughing

I was getting into it, seriously getting into it. It only took about an hour (with smoke breaks). The tatt I fixed up wasn't very large. That's how he's letting me practice by working on his tatt's that need fixing up. He's ready to have me work some more.

Did I cover everything? =)

you did, sir...

i am really surprised.. i havent heard of ANYONE go straight to people until you. i worked at that parlor for a few yrs.. went to tat. conventions and met other artists and none of them went to human skin first thing...

i guess theres a first time for everything.. i shouldnt be so shocked...

..all 7 of my tattoos are black work.... and i want<ed> to change them over to white... it would take alot of visits but its something i am considering.. <added pointless info> :wink

It seems I've always had unique situations dropped in my lap. I asked my friend several times if he was sure about me just putting the needle to skin and he said yes. It only took a few minutes before I became familar with the vibrations and holding the gun. After that I just got a feel of the flow, so to speak. I have a few tatts myself and have many friends that are tattoo artists so I guess some info has sunk in over the years.
