Strange Reasons To Want A House

Recommended Posts

wow, major thread jackin. anyway, my obsession was not dealing with neighbors thru walls. i also had a thing for trying my hand at landscaping and home improvement. wondering how well i can do and how much value i can add to it. now i plan on refinancing in 6 months since it will be totally different finance circumstances. i'd like to see my payment lowered under 1000 a month so i can add more to the improvement funds. and i have a lot of plans for this new place.

I was at a truck stop in Laredo, TX and it said I wasn't allowed to post because I was using IdleAire. So I copied and pasted it and tried again and got the same result. So I didn't think I actually posted lol.

Oddly I've been obsessing over my inability to have a party with my current living situation. Odd to think "i need to buy a house, fix it up, furnish it, get my life all sorted out... so i can have a party."

(Obviously not the Only use of a house, but just one I've been thinking about lately.)

That's not so strange. I wanted a house so I could have a pets and grow a garden.

I don't necessarily need a house, but I do need my own place simply so I can get laid. Although, with my curse I could have a multi-million dollar mansion and probably still be unable to land a chick.

In that case, I would suggest hiring a massage therapist/maid to take care of ALL the needs lol. I'm still waiting to get cleared of all the bills so I can start my home improvements.

I'll buy you a house plant if you get a house

I always wondered what a house plant was exactly. Just any plant that happens to be inside? I'll take all the free stuff I can get though. :)

I understand it though Troy... you see, there comes a time in a man's life when he needs to have a bash that a rental pad just can not contain/sustain...

A place that im in "control" of and don't have to answer to anyone else. Defiently helps with the relationship department also.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTTTTTTTTTTTT i wanna go

Sounds like you take a lot of pride in it. Good for ya. :)

Oh man... you mean the pets and the garden dont come with it automaticly? That can't happen. *starts planning*

I can top that. I wanted a house so I could vacuum whenever I wanted.

Lol. Now thats funny.

Non-roommate, non-relative infested households will definitely help.

I want a house because my townhouses send me a damn letter everytime I want to let my cat out to free roam. If I had my own house then Gitzie could be happy and I wouldn't have to look at her sad little face when she's standing by the side door wanting to go out.

So basically, I'm going to be in the process (soon) of buying a house so my cat can be happy. Only reason.

I can honestly say-- having ones own place, without shared walls or room mates, is AWESOME!! I can do whatever I want, WHENEVER I want. This is the first time in about ten years I've had this freedom, and I'm enjoying it immensely. I work hard for the privilege, but it's worth it.

I provide protection services for certain DGNers. I can keep her safe... :starwars::pirate:

Ooohhh, you can be my bodyguard anytime Msterbeau. kiss kiss (ya big flirt) ;)

I can relate Troy. Renting may be nice, but if the place gets trashed from a party, you don't usually get your cleaning deposit back. At least when you own your place you can get a little crazier when you have a party. Oh wait, I forgot. We're talking about Troy here. I meant to say A LOT CRAZIER when you have a party. My bad. *giggles*

Damn, so much for wanting to get a house to have responsibilities! I mowed the whole acre and a half of lawn with a pushmower today and I am paying for it. Sore beyond belief since its been awhile since I did good hard labor. Its a good feeling afterwards though, except for the skeeters that ate me alive of a pint of blood.

So I can have a larger pumpkin for Halloween...
