Depends on how much construction time I have. I have two different outfits in mind that I want to make...one involves an awful lot of sewing, and the other involves woodcraft and light mechanics, which I've never done, so may be impossible...but yet it still sounds more likely than the first, given how busy I always am lately. I'm also making a Halloween skirt which would be done by now if it wasn't for going to the Wings game Wednesday and my machine breaking down. D: Plus I have that maid costume I wore to City last week, and my nurse outfit I wore a few weeks ago...but since I've already worn both of those lately, I want something new. But depending on how many Halloween events I attend they may get pulled out.

What will you be for Halloween?

I'm going to try and figure out how to scrap up the money to make a good Dread Pirate Roberts costume. I might end up being the El-Cheapo Pirate Roberts I'm broke, but I'm going to try. Leather Gauntlets, Pirate Shirt, Boots, Face mask, pants, sword that looks remotely like the one in the movie (will have to be cheapo) that fit properly... have nothing, starting from scratch.

This type of costume is usually against my belief system about Halloween (that is being something "not scary" is counter to the holiday or at least kinda... blah.) But, being a good convert to Pastafarianism as well as being able to say that well.. the dread pirate Roberts is DEAD, I'll let myself slide. Pretty excited about this actually.

Lol If i saw a (recognizable) WH40K character as a halloween costume I'd just have to start bowing down immediately.

i think i would die...then get back up and be like gimme a few weeks to get the nid costume ready...i am thinkin a warrior would be pretty awesome...hmm the planing begins....

But i was thinking something simple this year...maybe....ill go as amanda outta saw she was kinda creepy :p

Whoah, that is a rather disturbing resemblance! Would be even more effective if you periodically rip off the mask...

Since I'm in a Japan frame of mind, how about an Amazon Geisha? ;-)

Here's some ideas...

Always wanted to do the geisha thing... but all my kimono and gear cost way too much to wear to Hallowicked & risk Faygo drenching. Maybe I'll do a sexy geisha thing (scanty lingerie under partially open kimono) for the Cap City October party, only have to worry about, um, body fluids there! Now, if only I can figure out how to do a decent obi tie by then...

If you'll all indulge me for a moment...

Guy's idea was that we wear the babies in Baby Bjorns, which are those front side baby carriers, and cover them in fake blood and gore and make it look like they are popping out of us, like from the movie Alien.

All the boys think this is terribly clever.

I hate it.

There is something....disturbing about putting fake blood on a baby. And seeing as how these two ALREADY popped out of me, the novelty of a costume recreating the event is kinda lost on me.

Guess I'm really disturbed 'cos I absolutely LOVE that. I can see your point, tho, AFA the "been there, done that" aspect.

As for me I'm doing a slightly betterl-planned version of my Wicked Kitty rig from last year. Rhumba panties, tail, ears, collar w/bell, jeweled whiskers... nothing special but I like it and the ears are kind of my trademark.

Woah.. I was looking at some costume sites, and I saw a chest with three boobs on it and thought about being Eccentrica Gallumbits, the triple-breasted whore of Eroticon Six.

I went to Catholic schools for 9 years, and I've still never been a nun for Halloween.

my friend did a photo shoot of me once for a class of hers and i dressed like a nun. well, just a habit (it's only a head shot). it's rather funny. maybe i will post it on here one day... but probably not. :p

Here is my halloween costume for this year:

If you haven't bought it yet, I think your petti may be a little too long for your dress...but you can always roll it I suppose! :)

Whenever I see that dress I remember a couple of my friends in Japan almost buying it in different colors to wear to an event at a little fetish lingerie shop, but I convinced them not to since they had it marked up to almost $200. XD hahaha Oh Japan...

I'm amazed at how expensive some costumes are; and they're not even made very well. I'd rather just pick out some stuff at a resale shop and make up my own costume.

Not to rain on everyone's parade, but ever since the last time I got dressed up for Halloween--went all out, even with some semi-professional help, to make a costume of Destiny from The Sandman comics--when absolutely no one recognized who I was supposed to be, I said hell with it, I'm done.

I would have (and did, I have seen some of the pictures) :happy:

I was thinking Asami, from Audition.

Then I was thinking perhaps Princess Zelda, and Keegan could go as Link.

THen I was thinking Rorschach, I just need a trench.

I still don't know. Still thinking about it.

      Feeling happy to report that my neighbor and her cat are now back together.  I build her fur baby an indoor Cat Run and now the cat and her 3 kittens have been moved in.  I told my neighbor to make sure the little ones stay with their mother for at least 3 days in their new environment before she starts letting people handle and take the babies away.    I wish she would keep at least one of the 3 kittens, but apparently they are all already spoken for.

      Well it happened, understandably but it still sucks.  I hated them both so I was going to be unhappy either way, but I do admit I hate Trump slightly more because of the narcissism, egomania, xenophobia, and misogyny.  On top of that that insufferable base of his who think that they are free to act the same way now that he's won.  The apologetics from them were horrible too where they handwaved away legitimate criticisms, and mocking those who brought them with "orange man bad!"   The one good thing to come out of this is punk music is going to absolutely rock for the next few years.  However I really just have one question... https://www.loudersound.com/features/andrew-eldritch-sisters-of-mercy-will-make-another-album-if-trump-is-elected IT'S HAPPENED TWICE NOW ANDY, WHERE'S OUR FUCKIN' ALBUM‽ Well, I guess at least I'll get to keep my guns.
