From 2004 until 2005 timeless songs, always connected to melancholy and sung in German, came into being out of great passion and in co-operation with musician and producer Dirk Riegner – German pop breathes black fire and brimstone. miLù’s debut single Aus Gold (Release: Dec 6, 2004), featuring Kim Sanders & Peter Heppner, is an unmistakable statement against murder among men. The single sales revenue is donated to children’s homes of the ‘German Red Cross’ in Afghanistan. Aus Gold remained in the single charts for five weeks. miLù shows on No Future in Gold that she is able to bestow voices upon her differing moods. That is exactly what makes her unmistakably authentic and direct. She may whisper childlike naive, or sing about time, life, she is fully woman, erotic and exhaling. miLù mixes the most different colours of voices and techniques, that’s why Joik choirs, an old form of singing of the ‘Samen’, and classical soprano chants next to pop like voice lines fit together with ease. Her lyrics allude to border lines of human experiences, always between everyday life and dream. According to miLù life is laughter and crying at the same time. No Future in Gold is a very much diversified album having trip-electro elements and driving guitar sounds as well as ballad like piano lines and classical strings arrangements. Aus Gold won’t be the only song to feature Peter Heppner as guest musician. He also joins in the duet Lustschmerz. Moreover, the album comprises a couple of pretty bonus tracks as well as Ein Tag wie jeder andere, a story told by miLù. also visit drakkar for more info ok cheers for all ps. there is no US relase date yet. though U can get on E-bay or amazon.de
