Making some falls

Recommended Posts

So I've experiemented a bit and ended up making some hairthings, you know, the fake hair I'm wearing in my avatar and pictures? I tried making a few of my own from scratch.

Materials Used:

----->> Elastic hair ties (( preferably NOT rubber bands, but more like the headbands ))

----->> Plastic tubing (( purchased for a dollar a bag at the dollar store ;3 ))

----->> Yarn (( easy enough ))

----->> Some embroidery floss

Now, the first one I made, it was made of nothing but the plastic tubing. Braided and tied around the eleastic and actually, it turned out pretty cool but I dont wear it often. The second one I went nuts on, even going so far as to braid in some jelly bracelets and beads into the braids. This one also goes past my rear end. oO

Currently, I'm slowly working on another hair 'fall' that I hope to finish by June (( it's not taking that long, I just dont focus on it enough )). It's made entirely of yarn and I honestly cant wait to finish it.

NEWSFLASH!!

The 3rd hairfall I'm working on is loooonnngg..... try almost down to my knees (( really not intentional )). If I work on it ALL week, I actually might have it done by Saturday and wear it to CC. Doubtful but who knows, gonna work on it some more tonight while I watch "Metropolis" on Adult Swim. ;D

W00T for progress!!
