He better do a good job with this country, and Not do a good job of fucking up this country. And can we please shut the hell up about Bush now??? Well, not really... because the damage he & his cronies have done is not just going to go away overnight. Although I would be just as happy to never see or hear about him again. And yeah, President-elect Obama has his work cut out for him... I am overjoyed he won but I sure don't envy him. He is definitely in my prayers for any number of reasons. phee
My two cents: I agree with the Eternal on most of his sentiments. I also think with how devistated the country is by the last 8 years that Obama has an almost impossible task in front of him (I don't think he will be re-elected to be honest), because in the last 8 years about 20 years worth of damage was done. n0Mad
The President takes an oath to uphold the Constitution. As long as Obama does that, I will support him as our new president. As soon as he starts to fuck that up though, I'm pointing my finger and saying, "I told you so."

And I have a feeling I'd be doing it too if McCain had won. When are we going to get a damn Libertarian or Constitutionalist into office?

What are your thoughts on all this? I'm 2 for 3 - Obama/Prop 1 passing = +2 Prop 2 passing - I'm not surprised by this. I'm all for stem-cell research, but ended up voting against it because I think that this is an issue that should have been handled by the state legislature, not calling for an amendment to the state Constitution. All in all, a good evening for my politics, even if General Zod did not win the position of the Washtenaw County Drain Commissioner.

As soon as he starts to fuck that up though, I'm pointing my finger and saying, "I told you so." Keep that finger primed and ready. Remember, he's already voted in favor of the "bailout" and that's gotta be the most unconstitutional travesty of a bill since the Patriot Act. I wonder how many times we have to be assraped by the Republican/Democrat paradigm before we wake up as a people...
