soothsayer
Ok ~ this is really starting to annoy me and I'm gonna stand on my soap box and bitch about it here. It seems lately I've been meeting women that lose interest in being friends with me if I turn out to be not interested in them sexually. Is that some sort of major offense I wasn't notified about? I mean, is it just me or am I suppose to pretend to have interest just to keep a female friend? I am having trouble understanding that mentallity. Anyone with advice or has maybe gone through this feel free to speak up and try to help me understand. Grrrrrrrr! :doh
Brenda Starrr
Maybe they're just offended. I think it's silly.
soothsayer
You think so? I spent so many years thinking that women would be offended if they thought I only wanted to sleep with them and not get to know them on a personal level. Now, it seems it's the other way and women are giving me the impression that, unless I show sexual interest they can't be botherd with me. I think it's really fucked up. Brenda Starrr
It's completely ass-backwards. I honestly think that some people don't know what they really want. Or, they just like messing with people's heads.
Vater Araignee
Women are women. They hate it when ya wanna do'em. They hate it when ya don't. They use estrogen as an excuse, but as soon as you say testosterone your evil. Women are women. What can ya do? Except it as gospel that until you become one you'll never understand. soothsayer
You are 100% woman Brenda. I'm just as confused about this as one can be. I've never been the type to want to sleep with every woman I've met or looked at for that matter. Some women are more attractive to me than others. I'm thinking maybe some of the women I've met lately just think, well he's a guy and all guys want to sleep with every woman that shows interest. I dunno, I've just never been that way. Maybe the earths rotation around the sun is changing and that's the cause of it.
Brenda Starrr
Thanks for noticing, sooth. I've always had male friends, so maybe I just have a better understanding of them. I don't know. Maybe you're one of the exceptions to the standard rule of men wanting to sleep with everyone with a vagina.
soothsayer
This makes it dificult to make friends with women because they either think I "want" them and are put off or in other cases they are interested and I'm not. I guess now maybe I can see this is what women have to put up with from some men. I do always try to be clear when speaking with women but I dunno. Maybe I should be more clear. Brenda Starrr
I make friends with men....period. If they say that they want more, then I have to pretty much put them in their place as to what their role is: my friend or nothing.
soothsayer
I'm currently being denied convo from a few women at this moment. One thinks I want her as more than a friend and is not correct in her assumption. I really just want to be her friend. The others I think may have just wanted physical relations, at least that's the impression I got, and haven't been around. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love to have sex but just not with every or any women. This sux. I don't know what to do.

soothsayer
Thanks for responding Brenda, you're a sweet heart. I guess it's just like the old saying " you're damned if you do, damned if you don't".......but it really sucks either way.
Aralis
Some women get offended if you don't take an interest in them sexually. They start to think in their head that maybe they aren't attractive enough or sexy enough or thin enough or whatever. They obsess over this and think they aren't good enough or something is wrong with them and get kinda offended. So yeah "your damned if ya do and damned if ya don't!" That says it best!
