The Over-Analytical Thread

Scales

Recommended Posts

This is the over-analytical thread. Not saying it's the specific authentic one here or anywhere else on the internet. Or that there is a strict definition of what it means to be over-analytical, if there even is a line of analysis where upon breaching one or more people would then find themselves with the personal attribute of over-analytical, if I'm spelling analytical right.

Please feel free to post, or constricted to post, or anything other than those two options, if you believe in options; I personally believe in nachos, not the kind with sour cream, but I'm looking for some better options then Taco Bell nachos- please forgive me for making the assumption that I did not believe in options, but then later used options in a sentence describing chips covered in cheese.

But it would be best to handle such forgiveness quotas in an apologetic thread, where there is less off-topic cluttering here. Not to say that there is a specific rule against speaking off-topic, or that rules need even apply anywhere, including this thread; one might ask if guidelines suffice, or how they would work with forum utilitarianism. Hopefully three paragraphs will suffice for starting this thread, not there is a necessary three paragraph rule or guideline for starting an official or unofficial varying size of literature.

Thanks, neutral, nothing, or no thanks for reading, depending on your views, if your currently viewing.

But if you try to look at it from that angle and attitude considering the history of the subject at hand, you will find that you have opened unknown vistas of thought and theory. It is curious that you chose this paticular time to start a thread of this nature and it shows that while there is not a lack of focus, perhaps a lack of direction of said focus is now clear. When you thought of this thread I suspect that there may have been some wandering in thought and wording.

As far as the issues about the said Americanized Mexican fast food chain, I suspect that you may have been feeling the desire for inexpensive slightly culenary indulgence yourself. I too shy away from sour cream, but I find that in my numorous attempts to order South of the border corn products without the white dairy substance have been more tiring then their net value. So I tend to ignore my aversion to the condement and get my nachos with it anyway.

Now some of the more investigative, or shall I even say speculative members of our subcultures online community may try to excuse this with a tendancy for my more lackadaisical leanings. And while I am guilty of this at times, I assure you that it is for myself and the employees benifit that I do not ask them to withhold the sour cream.

You know, there is a term that was coined a long time ago, describing being overanalytical: Mental Masturbation. Similar to the masturbation in that you do it when you are bored. However, the resultant orgasms are far from satisfying IMHO.

There are professions that deal do it all the time (example, your standard internal medicine doctor.) Getting caught up in their own mental juices tend to make them miss the point of what they are planning to do.

There are reasons I did a surgical residency/internship. I hate to listen to the sound of my own voice talking forever when there is work to do.

You've definitely gave me something to think about and query. I wonder if the advent or rise of this topic could be the start of a social revolution, preferably in viewers of The Onion news source; but the theory is speculative rather than relative or well-educated.

There was a great deal of wandering thought to my current source of mysticism, the world's best nachos as well as in no particular accordance except coincidence if one believes in coincidence (though I am unsure if I do), to over-analysis. I find sour cream an insult to my minimalist Nachoist culture of cheese-meat-lettuce. I am also interested in the Gothic subculture's choice towards Nacho condiments and any sociological data that could be relevant to the basic consensus that there is Goth apathy towards a basic supreme serving of nachos. Though staying on the original topic my generalized guess towards the best nachos would be traced to locally owned, family restaurants.

Oh baby.

I over-analyze everything. Usually. Except those couple times last year. Have you ever done that? You know... analyzed something then over analyzed it then promptly forgot about it again?

Why are we here again?

Did I mention I have ADD?

We are looking into the implications of this thread and the Gothic subculture's generalized stance on apathy towards supreme or regular condiments on restaurant nachos if my assumptions have tact- not to be confused with Tic Tacs, which are a handy breath mint that come in very handy, naturally, after eating nachos.
