I think Cupid, (or Eros) as he is known to the Romans and Greeks hates me, personally....lol

My main problem has been the fact that I am 54 now and most women my age or close to it are either taken or married, and those who aren't don't want a middle aged hippified goth loving musician. They all want successful, independently wealthy guys freshly divorced with boats and cars, etc. etc. I dont know...maybe its just my perception, maybe its the fact also that I have been divorced now for almost 18 years, and don't really have much of a social life that doesnt revolve around me playing or performing somewhere. I have been out of the dating loop for so long, I forgot how to get back into it.

Plus, I am painfully shy when it comes to hot babes. I can get up on a stage and sing and play for 2000 people without a sweat, but put a lovely lass in front of me and its like my brain switches off and I become instant idiot.

I have met and gotten very close to a few ladies online, but they are usually 1000 miles away or more.. which really doesnt make much sense... but then who says love is supposed to make sense. Oh well, if it is meant to be it will be.

Wtf, cupid..... wtf. Shame there aren't any good, loyal guys who will actually stand up to my brassy bossy bitch attitude. I'm sick of nice guys getting me all excited and parroting over and over 'Yeah you just need a guy that can handle you, I can totally handle you, and you'll keep me in your life cuz I keep you in line!!!' Saying such a thing is a surefire sign that he indeed can not.

just on opinion but it seems to me you more or less want a nice loyal guy that you can control...just like with a girl not puting up with a guy being a dickhead iam pretty sure its ganna be rather difficult to find a guy that WANTS to date a girl who has a bossy bitch attitude...

now dont gte me wrong iam sure theres guys out there whos balls you can carry around in your purse but i havent came across many dudes like that

age has never really mattered to me much though if i find the person to beautiful (as long as its legal) then i find the person to be beautiful

oh well i see...yes i suppose we are a rare breed Rev but i suppose patience is a virtue no? i figure id rather wait till the world burns then settle for someone who dose not appreciate me for who iam and what i have to offer
