Sometimes you can solve that by simply going out and being around people. For a very long time I had to constantly have friends around to distract me from the loneliness that I was suffering post-breakup. It took months of piles of people in my house. The jokes about my house being a hippie commune or that I must be mexican (I love mexicans, I wish I had a little latin in me) were constant, but I wasn't used to being alone. I had to wean myself off of people. Now I can just happily distract myself with a new sewing project or a book.

I learned long ago, that I can be completely alone in a crowded room with friends, and good friends are the hardest to find. But, the longer I don't date, the easier life is.

I think this is what im trying to do.... Im meeting new people and just trying to keep myself surrounded by others to create a distraction. Iv been told im clingy, and im very overwelming to deal with i guess... I dont mean to be that way i just dont want to be alone... Im in no way ready for another relationship. I just want a someone to go out and have fun with and well a lil booty dont hurt either :p ... lol not sure if that make sence...

You could always hang with me... I wouldn't mind a stalker.

Hey Cupid lets see you hit my ass while I am at Basic Training! Wait...on second though please don't try to hit me with anything while I am there...not many chicks are going to be around me...but you can't aim anyways so I don't know what to tell you other than try to stay here and keep shooting at that girl in my Chemistry class...and use a shotgun with a wide spread!

I dunno, I've been single for about a month now, and while I'm not looking to jump into anything serious -- not ready, as well as looking for career work in other states -- I am feeling awfully lonely, and wishing I had someone to cuddle with at the very least. I miss having someone to see movies with and hold hands, or just stay in with for the evening... I dunno.

As a side note, I will be attending City Club this weekend -- 2nd or 3rd, not sure. I will try to post pics here on the forum of what I will be wearing inside :)

I know the feeling well.... :cry

I know alot of people who have found someone in recent months. I think Cupid has been busy as hell and will eventually hit all of you single folk.

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl: :rofl: :rofl::rofl::rofl:

I will have to concur with torn on this one.

I will believe it when the when proof positive is before my senses. So far, there has been no proof; positive, negative, or otherwise.

Relationships for me never work out. It's been a year since my last true relationship, and it really sucks. You may see me at the club with DJ, but we are just friends with benefits. I honestly wish I could find someone who likes me for who I am and isn't afraid of commitment.
