Don't even advocate this devil. This is is a situation which hits very close to home; and it angers and upsets me-- to the point of losing every bit of reason!!!!!

If you try for my goat on this one, you'll be getting the end with the horns, first.

This is EXACTLY why I want to help people who want to get out of the industry, with their dignity intact. Someday, I will organize a half-way house and resource center for adult entertainers in transition-- after I've navigated my way out of this purgatory. And I WILL.

All human beings deserve their dignity, even the ones horny men stroke off to. Oh, wait-- we're not people. We're just fuck dolls with no feelings, hopes, dreams. Our lives are worthless, except for giving guys shaking tits, asses, and dripping orifices to look at. We don't have friends, families, or children. We don't have lives. We don't have human potential. We just sit around all day, waiting for someone to molest us with their eyes. All for you, my dear public. Tous pour vous.

All the boys love us, until we try and escape from the prison of their fantasies, to make our way in the real world. Women's Lib, and the Sexual Revolution were all for naught, judging by the way this double standard for female former adult stars still exists. It's absolutely APPALLING, and WRONG. Most of us are brave, educated, savvy, and strong women. Good thing, because we NEED to have our wits about us-- when dealing with careless, heartless cretins, who have no grasp of the human condition.

I'm SO glad my line of work has given me the inner strength to deal with the adversities and adversaries I will face, as I push ahead towards my personal life goals. Try and stop me, player haters. I will succeed, whether those people think I deserve to, or not.

I could rant on for another five years about this. Don't even get me started. Your eyes will bleed.

P.S. A word to the wise: DO NOT FUCK WITH PMS BARBIE. CONTENTS ARE UNSTABLE.

I wasn't saying it would be right or wrong to fire her. I was just pointing out the facts.

I believe you. And I think the situation is very unfortunate.

After all these years, I still don't understand why sex is considered so wrong. Disease? yes. Unwanted pregnancies? yes. Rape? yes. But sex in general? So the fuck what? I'd be more inclined to find golf offensive, as far as recreational activities are concerned, as just because, aesthetically, I'm not overly fond of the shoes.

Since I feel like playing Devil's Advocate:

1. Is New Jersey an 'at will' state?

2. Does she have an employment contract?

If the answers are yes and no, they can fire her and that's that.

Yes...but you cannot fire on discriminatory reasons. You best bet if they were trying to get rid of a woman for being black or let's just even say getting rid of someone for their lifestyle such as being gay, they'd be in a world knee deep in lawsuit shit.

"At-Will" only goes so far when you're BLATANTLY discriminating against their perfectly legal and legit lifestyle choice. Why not just go through and fire all gay teachers too, Goth Brooks? After that, let's say a superintendent is democratic, since it's at will why not just fire anyone in the school disctrict who's republican? See? Discrimination doesn't fly in this country anymore and usually is not protected anywhere outside the south. That's why I'm so confused as to why this entire thing is being debated and this poor woman's life is being ruined. This district should be ASHAMED.

The first US colonists were puritans. That ideology seems to have been imprinted upon our society. It really bothers me too.

Has your employer told you that you are an “at will” employee? Do you know what that means?

As with most states, employment in New Jersey is presumed to be “at-will.” What this means is that if you are a private employee and don’t have an employment contract or collective bargaining agreement protecting you from termination, you can be fired at any time for almost any reason.

Can your employer really fire you for any reason?

“Almost any reason” does not mean any reason at all. There are a number of exceptions and modifications to the at-will employment doctrine in New Jersey.

For example, employers cannot terminate employees for discriminatory reasons or in retaliation for alleging discrimination (see New Jersey Law Against Discrimination, N.J.S.A. § 10:5-1 et seq.), for blowing the whistle on wrongful activities (see New Jersey Conscientious Employee Act, N.J.S.A. § 34:19-1 et seq.), for attending jury duty (N.J.S.A. § 2B:20-17) or for filing a workers compensation claim (N.J.S.A. § 34:15-39.1). If you think that you have been fired for one of these reasons, you should contact and employee rights attorney to discuss your case.

The way I'm reading this, a person being fired for their job history would not be illegal. That's just my interpretation.

They're NOT being fired for their past work history...they're being fired because of the LIFESTYLE that the work history encompasses.

So you're telling me that if someone was hired into their school district who also used to work for the United Negro College Fund Department they could be fired for working someplace that helps black people? What about someone who worked for a committee that was trying to speak up for gay rights? As I said before, SO totally would be getting sued if either of the above were the case, why is this different?

Because firing someone for being gay violates EOE, same as firing someone for their political stance, i.e. it's discrimination.

However, I still think that firing someone for their job history does not violate 'at will' firing laws of New Jersey. That's just my opinion of how the law reads, I'm not condoning it.

Since you keep digging I'll give you my actual opinion: I don't believe in "At Will" employment. I believe that as long as she is qualified under that company (i.e. school district) hiring guidelines, as long as she follows all rules and policies in performing her job, that the company should not have the ability to fire her.

That doesn't change the facts that: New Jersey is an At Will state, and if she has no employment contract then she may be fired at any time as long as it does not violate EOE.

Because race and sexual orientation are protected under Federal EOE laws. Being a pornographer isn't.

And porn is a lifestyle? Maybe for some, but I hardly see the majority of people in the porn business living their LIFE based around porn.

Gays and blacks don't stop being gay and black when they leave their job. I doubt porn stars fuck everything in sight off camera like they seem to do on it.

but how can they stop the job when society seems to keep reminding them and shunning them for it.

My point exactly.

This is why I've completely given up on the idea of finding employment with an existing company. I'm starting a non-adult business of my own-- a phone-ahead lunch delivery service. This is something I have been planning for a long time now, and it's time to get froggy and jump. A commercial kitchen which will pass a health inspection, a business license, a vehicle, existing clientele, affordable liability insurance, and starting capital are all within my grasp. I haven't spent all these years making connections for nothing. ;) One of the perks of my current job-- I've met all sorts of people with money and juice, and many of them are willing to grant favors within their abilities to old acquaintances.

My shady godmothers taught me well; "Life is all about connections." They got out, eventually-- to live happy, normal lives; and so will I. ;)

Well, I work at an elementary school and I like porn. What's wrong with that?

So what if she participated in some porn and is now a lunch lady? Lunch ladies are way less involved with the kids than any other position in a school anyway, such as a teacher, paraprofessional, or even a librarian. Plus, I highly doubt that of all the porn in the world, these elementary school kids are going to stumble across her porn and recognize her. Little kids shouldn't be watching porn anyway. I'm assuming that she didn't get involved with child pornography; of course, if this were the case, then I definitely would say keep her out of an elementary school.

I say that if she is good with kids and treats them with respect, then who really cares? It would be wrong to fire her based on her past employment. I wouldn't want to get fired from my current job now because I once worked at a video store.

I'll take a Jersey style Reuben please with a side of onion petals and chipotle dipping sauce. Oh, and some cream soda to drink. Thanks.

Would you like Swiss, Muenster, or pepper Jack on that?

Thousand Island, or Russian dressing on the side?

Saurkraut and meat grilled, or cold?

Marble rye, Jewish, or pumpernickel?

Add sauteed sweet onions?

Grill the bread, or no-- and if so, how well?

May I suggest you try one of the house sauces as a complimentary side for your panko-encrusted onion petals?-- It's a special concoction consisting of chipotle and Cajun remoulade (doesn't that sound good and extra special?!)

Sending a Stewart's (I love shamelessly plugging quality products) Creme Soda on the side..

Included is a Post-It note with inspirational words to get you through your day, stuck to the side of the paper poke it all comes in (just like mom used to do, but sweeter).

I'll be so carried away with my new business!! Food is my second love, and cooking is my second-best attribute.

Tips are appreciated, Spook. :)

Are you hungry, yet? :p

You're right pornstars or ex-pornstars do not fuck anything in sight off camera. I have been since the early 2000s very picky and try to keep a girl I date at a 9 or a 10 take my pics in my profile for example thats a 9 or 10. My ex-wife when I first met her and her twin sister were 10s exwife was 125 5'6" 36c her twin was 5'6" 140 36d. I am extremely picky.

I'm pretty traditional so let's go with Swiss.

Thousand Island, or Russian dressing on the side?

Russian please.

Saurkraut and meat grilled, or cold?

Ugh, no! Please no saurkraut. Despite being 50% German, I can't stand the stuff. That's why I ordered Jersey style, which means you substitute coleslaw instead. And grilled meat please.

Marble rye, Jewish, or pumpernickel?

Rye please.

Add sauteed sweet onions?

No thank you.

Grill the bread, or no-- and if so, how well?

Yes please, lightly toasted.

Tip: Remember, pillage before you burn.

j/k. I always tip well. 20% average unless the service sucked, then I'll at least do the recommended 15%. If the service was better than usual I'll often go up to 25%. I've tipped as high as 50% if the service was awesome and if the total bill was pretty low, I've even been known to tip 100%.

Are you hungry, yet? :p

Ravenous. You're hired! If I wasn't moving (and had a bit of money), I'd so invest in your business.
