honeymustard02
So I've liked the Milani brand for the most part. Haven't really tried their foundations and blush but I'm a sucker for their eyeshadows and liners. The other day they had a sale on these Lip Mixers and I gave it a shot. I bought 703 Lip Stir. They have three color layers that you mix together. When mixed this one is like a pinky nude color. Very nice. The shine is amazing on it. It lasts for a long time. When you first apply it, it does feel a bit sticky until it levels out and wears off a bit. Once it does it lasted for a good few hours before I felt the need to reapply it. The colors that are offered aren't a huge selection, but they're pretty. Oh and the flavor is almost a light candy taste. Very yummy. At least to me. Miranda
I use Guerlain KissKiss Gloss in Figue Plaisir, it has a violet scent and a nice feel, never pasty or sticky. I also use Chanel Levres Scintillantes in Equinoxe, with either, your lips always get a conditioning feel after and during use. I'll have to look into the Milani brand you mentioned. Brenda Starrr
Milani is a drugstore brand that has a lot of really nice products. While I typically use high-end items I find a lot of amazing products in the drugstore lines! A lot of amazing stuff! Milani's polishes are pretty nice, too. jynxxxedangel
The Milani mineral foundation is an absolute staple in my makeup kit!!! Try it-- you will NEVER go back to a liquid or creme!!! I use it combined with Max Factor PanStik (another product I swear by, as it's tried and true!), which I use as a spot concealer. I was looking at that. It just seems like it's pretty decent. Also, Maybelline's Mineral Power Liquid Foundation is getting some pretty big kudos from Allure Magazine. I love L'Oreal HIP shadows, too. Amazing stuff. However, I fully intend to pay the $28 to get the new Yves St Laurent Black lip gloss. Ohhhh yeah..... Speaking of black lip colour, do you know if there such a thing as the stay-on stuff in black, Brenda? I only wear this type of lipstick, as anything else only lasts two minutes on me! I currently use the Revlon ColorStay brand, but I've been secretly wishing for a similar product in black!! Alas, I haven't been able to find any brand which makes it!! HELP, O Great Beauty Guru!!!!! honeymustard02
I too love high end stuff. But I also like to find things on the cheaper end of things With as much money as I blow on my makeup addiction, I need to find ways to at least spend less. Or get more for my money! I haven't tried their nail polish though. Have to look into that. Ive started to do my nails again.

It appears that the beauty industry is SLOWLY discovering what WE knew all along: that black IS beautiful, and not just in mascara and eyeliner! I too love high end stuff. As a manicurist, it's killing me to know that as of 1/26, I can't wear nail polish due to school rules....grrrrr.....

Edited to say: I don't know why the link isn't working. The product is called Lipmix, and yes, IT comes in BLACK!!! =)
Brenda Starrr
Is that the MAC LipMix? If so, yeah...you totally can't pair anything up with it. Which means it will be DRY. It's designed to mix with other colors to make it darker. By itself, it doesn't feel good.

Has anyone tried this over a dry lip pigment? I'm going to test this out with my BareMinerals eyeshadow later..
